Really hope this doesn't hold up the deal.

Also TT posted in NVG that he thinks there is no way players get paid back in full if the GBT deal goes through.

I think they are now filing against the actual owners rather than the companies comprising FTP.

I read about this on pn. I reall see no point in attacking HL,CF,PI,JH,etc.... Like seriously do the 4 guys that filed the lawsuit think they can squeeze 150 million out of those players.

What about all the tax money full tilt never payed to the US. They advertise in our country every night on basic television. But didn't pay taxes because they where off shore casino's. FT lucky they lasted that long. TBH full tilt will never see daylight on a us cpu.

I can't imagine there is any way this would interfere with a GBT/FTP deal, in fact it could help.

The class action now (conversion) is only against the individuals, Lederer and Ferguson and is not an associated case to the SDNY civil action. The original class action (RICO) filed by the same plaintiffs in NY was dismissed as to several individuals primarily on the basis of jurisdiction. The new complaint asserts valid jurisdiction in the Nevada court on a different basis and only against the two people.

If the original class action were to be dismissed by the court in NY allowing the forfeiture to continue forward (the original class also made a verified claim in the civil case), this case should allow the option of collection via Ferguson and Lederer should US players not be paid in full via any possible remission process.

I THINK this could have been the rationale behind filing it. Seems to be protectionist in nature imo. I don't see the down side at all. IANAL, so if someone else see something different, I am open to hear it.
