San Manuel’s decision to withdraw was based, she said, on the realization that, ”The politics over Internet poker over the last two years simply has not caught up with modern technology’s inroads into California gaming economics, and it was unclear how soon in the future that would change. We decided it was time to step back for awhile and assess the situation.”

This story incidently does not mean a lack of interest in pursuing pnline gaming, just a lack of faith in the now-dissolved entity and chosen path.

Things may get interesting going forward.

Considering Nevada just launched their first online site yesterday, please tell me there's still something in the motions for this. It would be great to have online poker going in CA.

Tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have updates on CA?

Is California close to finally passing an online poker bill? Tribal gaming authority Victor Rocha thinks so.
