I understand why a number of folks from the real legislative process in 2006 no longer grace the Forum with real information and facts. Unless there is something really active and imminent, posting items here is not worth the time or effort.

There is VERY little to pick up here in the way of real information, except "Gee Whizzes" or "That Sucks because I don't like it" posts, after the fact and after it has been reported extensively elsewhere.

At most times, posting real information or analysis here is like throwing rocks into a mudbank. So, look to JP for your keen legal insights, TE for your astute political advice, and to safeandsecure.org for your periodic press releases.

There is no such thing as a free lunch, and this public endeavor is simply no longer worth pursuing.

I am not killing off the account, just limiting interaction to pms with people who actually contribute substance.

Sorry to see you go Milton.

Your posts have (almost) always been informative and reasoned and I have very much appreciated discussing or arguing points with you. That will be missed. Though I look forward to seeing you on the PPA forums , it just wont be the same without the trolls to liven things up.

But one thing I do ask --- you have often been first with information here, like when you first warned of the ePassporte pullout. I do hope you will continue to keep us informed when you get information others of us are still waiting for.

Sorry Skall, I also get a lot of stuff directly that is not ever posted, but the value of posting anything has deteriorated greatly over the past year.

There is little or no quid pro quo for giving up information publicly. It has some greater relative proprietary value to me than zero.

I simply am no longer giving this stuff away for nothing.

poker sold out a long time ago, now its come to this. everyone wants a buck off poker but many dont want to earn it on the tables. i knew years ago that people's greedy hands would ruin the game........like they do with everything else.

i remember when low ball reigned as the game of choice. cardrooms were filled with low lifes..........but at least they were harmless.

you and others like yourself are extremely dangerous. i really hope one day poker gets absolutely destroyed and returns to the other side of the tracks, so people like yourself can go find something else to ruin.
