There are still new reports coming in of players receiving the email. Also, GCG reps have said that they will be retrying bounced e-mails over the next couple of days (bounces could be for multiple reasons, not just defunct email accounts).

Honestly, I'd give it at least until Friday before you panic. It is government work, after all.

Good point. And I'm dealing with Hotmail, so I've got the double whammy. I might not get this sucker until mid 2014.

I'll change it up and direct my anger towards hotmail for now. Like you, I'm on hotmail and I also have received neither email.

Update on the fulltiltpokerclaims.com web site:

Quote:
Update Regarding Notification and Commencement of Online Filing Process

On September 16 and September 17, GCG is sending Notices to all potentially eligible Petitioners GCG identified utilizing data supplied by Full Tilt Poker ("FTP"). GCG is in the process of attempting to re-send any Notices that "bounced back" because of an invalid email address or for any other reason.

If you received an email Notice, please be sure to use the logon credentials provided in the Notice when you begin the Petition process. If you did not receive an email Notice and you believe you are eligible to participate in the remission process, please allow 2-3 additional days, as GCG attempts to resend emails, and then you may file a new Petition for Remission.

Also, on September 17, 2013, GCG is sending emails to all players who registered on this website and who were not identified as potentially eligible Petitioners. Such registrants did not receive a Notice with logon credentials. The email provided other important information about the remission process.

On September 18, 2013, potentially eligible Petitioners will be able to submit a Petition for Remission through this website.

The deadline to submit a Petition for Remission is November 16, 2013.

Why do you guys think its a hotmail problem? I haven't received an email either so curious if it could be a hotmail issue.

Hotmail is infamous for delayed messages.

I got their email but it was in my spam folder on my yahoo email address instead of my inbox so everybody make sure to check your spam folder also.

Haven't received an email yet, has anyone received an email that got rakeback payments? This is the only silly loophole I could imagine where I would not qualify for a claim..

PPA sent this to the membership yesterday:

On September 16th, Full Tilt Poker Claims Administrator Garden City Group began emailing notices to all U.S. Full Tilt Poker victims who are potentially eligible for remission. They are emailing notices today and tomorrow. Those receiving notices can file for remission starting 9/18.

The Notice provides instructions for filing petitions online through the Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration website. If you do not receive an email notice and you believe you are eligible to participate in the remission process, you can file a new petition online using the online filing tab on the left sidebar of the GCG Claims website, www.fulltiltpokerclaims.com, beginning September 18, 2013.

The PPA recognizes that a variety of questions will arise from this long-awaited process, and we stand ready to help our members. In the coming days, we will make available on our repayment center website an information guide that will help affected poker players navigate and understand the claims process, and (we hope) obtain all funds due. Our team will also be available to answer questions PPA members may have with the claims process.

Beginning September 16th, if you have a question regarding the claims process we ask that you email us at repayment@theppa.org. When emailing us, please keep in mind the following:
  • Priority in responding will be given to 2013 dues paying PPA members.
  • Include your full name and the email address associated with your PPA membership.
  • Please attach any supporting documents – emails, screenshots, etc. -- that will help us understand any issues, concerns or questions arising with your FTP claim.
  • Please understand that any response the PPA provides is purely informational. We are not providing legal advice, and you should not rely on any information we provide as a substitute for legal advice. There may be tax, or other legal ramifications that relate to your claims, and if you want advice specifically tailored to your situation, you should retain your own attorney.
  • If you provide us information, we may share that information with the Claims Administrator, but will do so only to help pursue your claim and/or other, similar claims by poker players. Thank you for your patience as we work to provide you with the most accurate information to help you.
The PPA is pleased that affected poker players will soon be reunited with their funds and we will continue to play an active role in working with the Department of Justice and Garden City Group to streamline the claims process and provide information to our members.

Proud to Play,

Poker Players Alliance

I don't think this is a Hotmail issue. I still haven't gotten my email, but my wife did and she uses Hotmail.

Of course she had like 50 bucks on FTP, and I had 4K. FML.

No, I still have yet to receive an email. I had a RB deal with FT not thru an affiliate. I hope this doesn't disqualify me.

I received my email at 4AM EST today so they're still coming. It says you can check your account balance on the claims website but I don't see anywhere to login. Does anyone know where to do that at?

Yes. Wait until they put up the link for it on their website. Supposed to be sometime today.

09-18-2013 , 11:03 AM
No the site won't let me send in a petition yet either. Will just keep checking back throughout the day.
09-18-2013 , 11:50 AM
Mine was in my spam folder. Everyone should check there if they haven't received the email yet.
