Funny how this bankroll would have been worth so much more to me in July 2011 -- when I took my first job in 6 years to make ends meet -- than it does now. Now I guess I'll just by a car and facebook stock.

Hey guys & girls,

I am pretty new to this site. I always wanted to join in, guess I was just lazy. I know I am not entitled to anyone's help or advice, but hey I have to try. I'm lost : ( My situation I am wondering about, is this I was being backed before black Friday and now am sitting with all my backers money. I need to transfer them the money, but it's being put in my bank account, so what steps do I have to go through to get my backer the money. So, I don't have to pay the taxes for it or do I pay them and send the rest.... Again sorry I didn't get involved earlier, but any advice would be much appreciated...

A car is a depreciating asset. If you don't need a new one, I don't see the point.

With respect to facebook stock (or any stock), I don't know. I don't know anything and I'm not going to spend tons of hours trying to know something. Therefore, I would go with index funds [they also generally have the advantage of quite low fees]. My advice anyway. I don't know anything about it (which again, is why I go index funds).

sometimes a different version of a product will make you happier than the one you already have.

Received my FT refund!

Finally heard back from GCG, apparently my banking info was "incomplete" despite me quadruple checking it before submitting successfully back on September 18th. I never received an email from them telling me about this until I wrote (and called) them first last week.

Double checked with my bank, I had the right numbers the first time, sent them along in email to GCG - hopefully things work out this time (whenever that time comes).

The only thing I can think of is maybe the fact that my routing number has a leading zero? If they had the field as a straight numerical value then it would ignore the leading zero and be wrong in their database.

Got all of my money off FTP before black friday. Only thing left in my account was a couple of tourney tickets, worth all of a whopping $8.80. Pretty much wrote them off on black friday.

Happy to get a deposit of $8.80 this past Friday.

Any word on timeline for 2nd batch? I think they are doing some checks too since they are having some trouble with some peoples banking information.

Not just yet. My bank test didn't go though, so hopefully I'll be in wave 1.5.

Hey all. Just called Garden City Group due to the fact that I hadn't heard anything one way or the other regarding the payment. It turns out that I had filed multiple times (2) and that I have to email the information email (Info@FullTiltPokerClaims.com) all the filing numbers and request that they merge the files. The customer service rep was very friendly and helpful and the wait on hold to get to the rep was not long at all. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Disputed claims have not yet been processed, so you should be fine. You can call up the GCG to check the status of your claim, just to be sure that it is in the queue with the rest of them.
