Nice that they added back our tournament tickets. That added another $100 or so into my account that I assumed I would never get back.

Its a good point. All the tournament tix I had returned added about $200 to my account but were cashed out on May 20, and there are 72,000 FTP's still sitting there too (not really sure about the value of these).

Doesn't hurt to ask for these back but I would much rather have $5700 quickly than $6000 slowly so I guess they are using the April 15 rule to screw players hoping that we don't care that much about the lost value?

I won a $12,000 WSOP package on FTP in 2011. I won it before April 15,2011 but the money was not put into my account until after April 15,2011. Will I still be able to recover these funds?

Great tip, thanks a lot.

I just logged in again yesterday, my balance in the cashier showed zero, but this request had the right info.
Did this and got nothing out of account history. Even stranger to me is when I logged in it didn't ask for my security token I had 2 years ago before all this went down. 2 years is a long time so maybe I don't remember deactivating it but I do no I had more than 0 history on the site...

Guess I will email useless support and do another request.

I had to ask for 900 days of history to get back into the middle of 2010. Make sure you request the proper dates. Also they don't email it to you, you have to log back in a day or so later when it is ready and download it.

Best,

thanks for the tips guys, was able to log in and get the acct info via spreadsheet in a few minutes thanks to this thread.

also saw that i still have over 342,000 player points which i'm guessing are worth quite a bit...but probably worth nothing to an american

I can't check my balance because I lost my security key. Any suggestions? Is this going to cause any problems getting my money back?

Getting your money back has nothing to do with being able to check your balance. GCG will send you a claim form with the amount they think is your balance due. If you don't disagree with the amount, you will just accept the amount and submit the completed claim.

If you disagree with the amount, you may need to get access to your FTP account for verification or evidence of the correct amount (for your own information, so you can explain to GCG why the claim amount isn't correct in your opinion). Best person to ask how to solve your access problem is FTP customer service.

It isn't difficult to get the security token removed from your account, couple emails to support and some document scans. In my case, it was much easier than trying to get it back from the ex.

My case is far worse, I made $500 after April 15th (was in Canada) and I have moved from the FTP address quite a while ago and to a different state so I guess will be waiting a lot longer than most.

Have they email all parties eligible for cash outs?

I have yet to receive one.

No, they haven't yet. And just to be sure it's clear, the rumor is that by the end of this week they will announce a date for the start of the remissions process - it's not that they will start the remissions process by the end of this week.

I was wondering if you guys had any info on this... I played on FTP but never made a deposit, from freerolls and working my way up I had a bit over $400 when black Friday hit.. Do you see this as a problem for getting my balance back?
08-12-2013 , 01:07 PM
So I grabbed my account history last night; I won some and received a RB payment after Black Friday, hope that's in my payback. Also I got incredibly depressed seeing the old FTP interface and not being able to play.

I did it once and it turned my stomach. I has so many iron man points and FPS + rake back it was going to become very profitable for me to play....

Not to detract from the article (it makes it clear), but worth keeping in mind the only source for this article are two posts in this thread.

If you emailed them last week, that is what they responded with. I wonder if they changed the canned response to "this week".

At this time we cannot provide a specific date, but expect to be able to provide a launch date by the end of next week. Once the process begins, The Garden City Group, Inc. ("GCG") will email instructions on how to complete an online claim to all potentially eligible claimants identified by GCG utilizing data supplied by Full Tilt Poker (“FTP”). You will then be able to review your account balance. Payments will be made electronically after the close of the claim submission period.

If the forfeited funds available for distribution equal or exceed the aggregate FTP Account Balances for all eligible Petitioners, each eligible Petitioner with an approved claim will receive the entirety of his or her FTP Account Balance.

We have your registration in our database and will be sure to contact you once the claims submission process begins.

Thank you.
