That could be what caused the problem, idk I'll check tomorrow and see if the "poker" seems to be the problem . I thought they weren't censoring the poker anymore but maybe they still do. Just frustrating when your posts disappear and there's no explanation why or where they went.

It will take you less than thirty seconds! Thank you for participating. Let's focus on House Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-AL):
  1. Like the main FB page HERE (you can unlike when done).
  2. Like the poker posts HERE and post a pro-poker comment of your own there as well (you don't have to like Bachus' post to like comments or to post your own).
  3. Send a prefilled, editable pro-poker Twitter message HERE.
  4. Wait at least an hour, then send another Twitter message HERE (you can track the messages here).
Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate as well. The past SIXTEEN actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

Yep...Spencer loves to hear from us. I hear he's a big fan of my column.

That being said, our goal is not to antagonize him. Rather, we want him to see the support for our position. He'll never support us, but any reduction in his zeal to ban this is good for us.

We did hit triple-digits yesterday, but I had to Skype and email a bunch of poker players to get the final ten participants. Let's not get complacent now, as we are being heard as never before.

I am confident everyone here is dying to tell Bachus that we demand our rights, so let's all take the 30 seconds it will take to make that happen. Thanks!

great quote Marlon
Quote:
@Greg, I'm from Alabama. You think we are bums for wanting our freedom? Do you think Abraham Lincoln was a bum? Go nanny someone else Greg.

Abraham Lincoln said:

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded".

What pages are you referring to?

Just a note about courtesy on the facebook pages. I am not "liking" any pro-poker comment that calls people names or otherwise shows blatant disrespect. (Well, except in response to trolls once in a while but that's only because they tilted me.)

I will "like" all pro-poker comments that are respectful. But not the ones that aren't.

/lecture.

Hey, DD, are you clicking on "most recent" or "everyone (most recent)" on the right side of the page? Because if you don't, you might be missing the posts we're making. Facebook seems to have a lot of quirky things that disguise and confuse.

Sajeffe: Agreed. It's wrong and it makes us look bad. Thankfully, the majority of pro-poker comments have been respectful.
