Our goverment wants to protect us from gambling. So we are not allowed to play games with rake lower than 5,26 %, we can't play freerolls and we can't get bonuses like the rest of the world. Thanks.

I'm really surprised that pokerstars applied for a license under these circumstances.

So we still get stars coin, just cant cash it in directly? Seems that's not a huge issue as you can just buy iphone's/ipad's/etc and sell it.

I think Pokerstars can do something about it.You buy HU SNG ticket with your coins.First place gets 50%,second place get 50% of prize pool.

Either way its not a scenario where "we get no bonuses". If I have to sell an ipad online every now and then, so what.

No direct points -> cash is ok, as long as we can just buy tickets. The problem is that we can't play GTD tournaments, if they start with less than 50% of gtd collected and they always have to pay LESS than 95% of buy ins, so rake has to be like 5,26 % or higher. The first problem might be solveable by some condition about czech players having different (lower) prizepool, if the tournament actually finishes latereg with less than 50 % collected. That never happens, so why not. I don't know about the second problem. Raising the rake for us in those tournaments and sngs is not a solution, thats BS.

Cash rebates available in the store now. Again, someone saying they have a secret reliable source saying otherwise is FOS.

How does the tax system work? do you need to pay anything for what you withdraw to the cz bank account, is it 100% legal?
ALso, what limits are there on zoom/husng/6max hypers on offer? Thank you

Depends on if you are EU or foreign. No. Stars legal, other sites "illegal" but you can still play on several.

I'm non EU so my tax payments are connected to my visa. You get free permission to enter forever. If you wanted to pay into the social or health care system here I'm sure there's a way, but I've never heard of anyone voluntarily doing it.

Cash games unaffected as far as I can tell, sngs/hypers/etc have some rake change due to legislation that makes them unbeatable I have been told.

Stars support told me that you have to be a permanent resident in Czech Republic in order to create an account on czech version of their client. Is this true? That basically means that you need to live there for 5 years first. Any way around this? Can anyone confirm that doors for foreigners are closed?

Basically by permanent residence they mean not your visa status but residence itself. So if you are in Czech Republic by tourist visa for 30 days then I believe you can't play online without doing some tricks. But if you live there shouldn't be any problems.

I have "dlouhodobý pobýt" visa and migrated my account to Pokerstars.cz client without any serious issues.

If you have visa for 90+ days in Czech Republic, then you have long-term residence permit. Therefore, you can open bank accounts in Czech territory and play at pokerstars.cz client without problem.
