I think it's a great idea to donate to pro-poker politicians. Even if it is just a small amount, it shows our support. I've donated to two pro-poker politician campaigns in the past, and will continue to do so as I can. Thanks for the Links!

Nice job, Thew92. For those for whom online poker is their primary issue in politics, this is an awesome resource. Hopefully most people are more than single-issue voters. But for those who lost their jobs on BF, poker is probably their only issue.

For me, your OP is a single source for simply thanking H.R.2366 co-sponsors, which is also important.

Thanks for putting this together.

The HR 2366 cliffs in the Federal Licensing Bills FAQ sticky has additional info on the co-sponsors: twitter links and state-district.

That is an awesome idea. I am going to donate at least $10 to every candidate with a pro poker message and hopefully a lot more depending on how Sunday goes for me and the horses

I have been activity campaigning for my Pro-Poker rep. And the reception and insight I have been getting has been great. I donated $10 to his campaign and posted some stuff on facebook and member of his campaign staff called my house phone to personally thank me. I even got to sit down with my rep. 1-on-1 for a hour. Then for my work the campaign staff free-rolled me to a fundraiser event that was awesome. Plus I just considered it an honer to go around my home town and put his yard signs up.

Totally agree with this point. I did research the candidates before I donated anything and would advise the same.

I'm a single issue voter. I want the freedom to be able to play online poker and live near my family and friends. More important to me than anything else and there is nothing wrong with that.

I am also a single issue voter when it comes to this issue.

1. Because it best for my financial situation
2. I don't think I could support candidates that don't support simply freedoms and are close-minded.

imho before I give any money to anyone or anything, I do research to see exactly what I'm giving my money to. Obviously, this is just my opinion and it wasn't my intention to tell other ppl what they should or shouldn't do. If someone is a single-issue voter then your right, there's nothing wrong with that.

There is no problem at all with doing some research on who your giving money too.
