Re: Your biggest downswing at MSNL

money wise biggest downsing was 20k thats 2-4 through -5-10

i separated my limits 2-4 biggest downsing was 10k
3-6 20k

5-10 25k

I usually move down when on downswing its hard for me to play good, so I wait till i win like 10 bi at 2-4 before moving back up.

Re: Your biggest downswing at MSNL

i dunno out of 1.2 million hands since august 07, doing it bb wise, i have 1 150k breakeven and 1 100k break even. I was traveling with terrible internet and was super unfocused for the first 150k.. i have had 1 35 buy in downer and 1 30 buy in downer and 2 25 buy in downer....money wise i think i lost like 25k at 5/10 3/6 and 2/4 in a day...i dont think breakeven streak should be count with money but i think i have a few 200k streches but thats just cuz i feel bad and played 1/2 after losing at 5/10

Anything more than a 6 BI loss for me is pretty disastrous. I only play 3 tables tho I guess some of you with your BI losses play a lot more tables..

Re: Your biggest downswing at MSNL

Recently climbed out of a 75k BE stretch. Currently climbing out of 22 BI downswing. Chances are if you are in a 20 BI downswing or a 75k BE stretch you are doing something wrong. You could just be getting super unlucky, but in addition to getting unlucky there's a very good chance you are also tilting a bit (or even a bit more than a bit). Cut the number of tables and drop down a limit or two and refocus. This is advice from personal experience.

Most people will eventually have a 20+ BI downswing. Very few people will be playing their best poker for the entire duration of the downswing.

i guess you mean in one session? if not, you're in for a rude awakening. you really can't imagine getting KK/QQ vs. AA a couple times and losing 4 flips? add in being card-dead etc...

this seems unbelievable considering some of your strategy posts...

as for the topic, something like 25K at 2/4-5/10. Hopefully at the tail end of it.
