no offense but you come off as someone who just took a computer course or an intro to A+ or something and now you're lording it over people. seriously, who cares? so long as you know what people are talking about, let them say it how they want to.
if i say in casual conversation "yeah i have those pics on my computer at home", would you snap back with "OH REALLY? THEY'RE ON TOP OF YOUR COMPUTER? OR DID YOU MEAN THEY'RE STORED ON THE HARD DRIVE INSIDE YOUR COMPUTER."
also im not sure wtf you're talking about with the whole memory/cpu/hd thing but it doesn't make any sense to talk about how cache data is impermanent since the cache != cpu
