Agree somewhat with this. I think though the important thing is: if you're playing really well and up a bunch, then carry on. If you're playing your usual game but the luck is just going your way, then quitting is more fine. Obv if your playing badly and just running well quitting is definitely the way to go.

maybe u should worry a little bit more about yourself and not so much about what random people are saying on the internet.

i don't feel like kicking your teeth in even tho you've been pretty rude to me. i guess that's cuz you are nobody. an afterthought.

yea what could the point of the internet possibly be besides making a bunch of completely ridiculous statements and engaging in ******ed arguments with random people you will never meet?

so i enjoy stirring things up. it makes it fun for me. i def don't think what im doing is equivalent to what you guys are suggesting tho.

either way, occasionally there can be HU/grudge type matches if others would step up from time to time (or the guys who challenge me arent top HS players who have been around in those games longer than i've been playing NL.

as much as i get under quite a few ppl's skin here, u can't deny some of the train wrecks r enjoyable. whether u r laughing with me or at me.. it's whatever....some reaction is better than no reaction.

most of u guys r very srs dudes. ....a few of the dudes i have gotten into tiffs with on here all take themselves far too seriously as it is (ya i've been guilty of it too but sans being under the influence, i dont have a problem laughing at my own blunders, or admitting when im wrong).

i am what i mean, so think what u want if u wish. not like what u think about me is any of my business as it is.

and i get the feeling a lot of u guys think my persona on the forums is similar to how i act in real life ... it's really not close. most ppl don't understand me imo. (guess i should join the club, i know it's true that something like 95% of the population feels misunderstood.)

Dude this is the Internet nobody cares how you behave in real life, because people seldom have the chance to meet.

Besides it's not about being too serious. Some internet trolls are fun and popular, some aren't. Guess you should either work on your alternate Internet personality or stop acting all surprised when ppl don't like you.

it'd be great if the people who responded to the poll with numbers above 80% could elaborate a little - how much volume do you play, what is your winrate, that kind of thing.

Yes but that martingale system guy would be losing overall. That's why OP wants to know the winrate too.

To answer the question:
~78% winning sessions
7bb/100 (200nl-600nl)

However it doesn't really matter how many winning/losing sessions you have, what's important is the total winnings.

About the "sub optimal early quits" : if the player feels he can't play his A game anymore because he is up a lot, he should end the session.
He should fix his mental problem if he can but if he is unable to he has to recognize that and simply quit instead of playing badly.

i used to win 6/7 days. now its' likely closer to 3/4 or 4/5. problem is the losing days are usually bigger/sometimes much bigger than the winning ones.
