$2-$5 NLH, table is playing fairly loose.

Hero makes it $15 in EP with TJ off and get two callers behind(MP and Button), both blinds fold. Flop KT4 two spades bet $35 and get called by MP. Turn J hearts.

Hero?? MP is playing $200 behind, about $120 in the pot on the turn

*I know this hand should probably be mucked pre flop in this spot

Yea, fold pre-flop.

As played, pretty easy bet/call. If he only calls your turn bet, then shove almost any river card.

yah on KT4ss J board, tons of worse hands will call.

Any hand with Qx in it will call (KQ/QT/QJ), AJ might call again. AK will call (and is possible given you're EP). etc.

Yah we lose to AQ and KJ and that's a risk, but we're in great shape vs his calling range. If we get jammed I don't love it but still b/c.

easy jam the turn if you have 200 left

Ya, thats how it played out. I bet he shoved I called. Somehow he had KK here, which i know is very very unlikely but got me thinking a little. Not so much that we are beat but that a lot of the hands that i want to get action from will bet if checked to and that i should check and raise in this spot. I think any K will be forced to bet and that many other hands, especially if the hold a Q, will also bet and then we can raise.

thoughts?

you can't just say "i know I prob should have folded" then move on. you have a crazy difficult hand to play and it's just a guessing game. you pretty much have to go with it on the turn but tbh most hands that are gonna continue either beat you or have a lot of equity. it's really just guessing.

one option is you prob can check/call and fold a lot of rivers. sometimes people bet too small or are scared. then if the river is a straight or flush card and he still bets you can save a little bit. i dunno.

your biggest mistake was trying to raise this bad hand on a table you described as loose. the turn decision is pretty close. btw i wouldn't have cbet the flop either. this is a mess all around
