boys, i've got to post something because i know about it and it's really beginning to bother me that we continue to try to hide these things

zachL hasn't posted in a few weeks and is on a payment plan with bacon. zeta vouched for him, so it's obvious that bacon will be paid anyway, but my concern here is the fact that this hasn't been brought forward to our attention sooner. we run this thread by self policing and we're all here to have each others backs. if someone can't pay, while it's not "alright", if they work out a payment plan with whoever they owe, it needs to be brought to the threads attention

if it isn't, it opens up the thread to a ton of additional credit risk when zach comes back in this specific instance. i'm not sure how much he owed bacon at the start, but it's 518 now and he's supposedly paying 100/wk. if i didn't post this, it probably never would've gotten out and that allows zach to come back to the thread as if he just took a break and nothing ever happened, which is a huge problem to all of us

while i know its embarrassing to not be able to pay debts, it happens and we deal with it. we need to be cognizant of what we open ourselves up to by hiding these things and need to start bringing these things to light faster instead of trying to bury bodies

Shouldn't Zeta be paying LB if he vouched for him and then Zeta be the one to collect from Zach? I really don't care what you guys worked out in this instance more so asking for future reference.

what is frustrating and sucks at the same time is the fact that people willing to ruin their reputation and credibility over such small amount of money when we live in open world of social networks era.

518 to bacon and some amount to zeta... rly, get advance from credit card, loan, borrow from relatives, anything, but settle ur publicly known debts and deal with ur publicly unknown debts on ur own....

These small publicly known debts should be an issue and get everyone's attention if ur whole life is fkd up, even if it is the case try not to ruin ur reputation and credibility everywhere, it will help u to rebuild urself.....

I think in some regards we should be applauding Zach for stopping down 518 above his means since that is super managable, but I agree on the need for even greater transparency. The thread doesn't work unless we have confidence in each other and everything is on the up and up.

Without knowing circumstances, I cannot recommend using anything other than petty cash for settlements, but like gaffon said, there are plenty of other ways to take care of small amounts owed
