i didn't have the option to use a different MB account if that's relevant but i'm not quite sure what you're getting at here, although i'm curious!

Thx.
Turns out this is the solution I'd been yelling at 888 Support for for over 2 months now. I changed the email address associated w/ my 888 acct, but not my MB account.
When you do that and then tell the 888 client that you want to make a MB deposit, it basically
assumes that your 888 and MB passwords are the same. But if they aren't, the cashier windows implies that that's OK and lets you click "I already have a MB account"...
except that there's a bug on that screen that prevents you from typing in the email field to tell them what your MB email is. This is all despite the fact that I've used this same MB acct to make deposits/cashouts to 888 for 5+ years. Once you change your 888 email, it doesn't "remember" your MB-associated email address (like every other poker client I've done this on). It just assumes your MB email must have changed too.
Support is as loltastic as ever, so I gave up on them...but yes: turns out that MB lets you 'add' as many email addy's as you want, which did the trick, and 'linked' my 888/MB accts. Thx.
