i didn't have the option to use a different MB account if that's relevant but i'm not quite sure what you're getting at here, although i'm curious!
Thx.

Turns out this is the solution I'd been yelling at 888 Support for for over 2 months now. I changed the email address associated w/ my 888 acct, but not my MB account.

When you do that and then tell the 888 client that you want to make a MB deposit, it basically assumes that your 888 and MB passwords are the same. But if they aren't, the cashier windows implies that that's OK and lets you click "I already have a MB account"...except that there's a bug on that screen that prevents you from typing in the email field to tell them what your MB email is. This is all despite the fact that I've used this same MB acct to make deposits/cashouts to 888 for 5+ years. Once you change your 888 email, it doesn't "remember" your MB-associated email address (like every other poker client I've done this on). It just assumes your MB email must have changed too.

Support is as loltastic as ever, so I gave up on them...but yes: turns out that MB lets you 'add' as many email addy's as you want, which did the trick, and 'linked' my 888/MB accts. Thx.

anyway, there's been some fairly outlandish whispers in this thread recently, i'm fairly skeptical but at the same time you can't be too careful these days, if anyone wants to step up to the plate and be more explicit/detailed/site sources/statistical analysis that would be great.
I have never been one to support the rigged theory and it will take an awful lot for me to be convinced that it is rigged. I ridicule friends who say it's rigged etc.

However, I have cashed out twice on 888 now and in the immediate days after each cashout I have went on pretty terrible downswings running way below EV, can't win a pot vs fish etc. I was so paranoid one night that I checked cashout dates in the cashier and compared them to my graphs and it did look like a coincidence.

It doesn't really make me that comfortable seeing other respected members and winners in the games suggest that there could be something up.

Meh I will still play there I guess for the time being as I do have a decent winrate there overall and since I have only been playing here since April I should probably get some more volume before going down the rigged path. Hopefully I don't run as bad as Pummi

lolwut?
got any proof of this?

You sure it's not simply the case that you can sit out longer when you get felted than when it's a 'voluntary' sit-out? If that were the case, it would explain why it seems like fish get longer...cuz they get felted more.

Nope, doesn't matter if they've busted or not. Its been happening for quite a while, it started not long after that bug where certain players could sit out forever at which time they were probably testing this "fish can sit out longer system".

Sorry, I still don't believe this.
888/Pacific's always been rife with F'd up little quirks. For example, sometimes their ratholing prevention mechanism stops working altogether and you can return to a table w/ a min buy-in immediately after leaving.

You're gonna need to provide some proof of the above being some sort of calculated 888 action that only affects whatever you think they define as a 'fish'.

I'm on LuckyAce and don't see any pop ups at login. If your pop up windows have similar titles, they can be autoclosed with AHK.

If you want proof you just need to be able to count...

I don't have a problem with it as long as this is the only code related benefit awarded to the fish. Actually, it would be really cool if they took it a step further and instabooted regs that sit out after the fish sits out.

and how can you be sure it doesn't have something to do with the number of time you are on the table?
