Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

I think pacific crashing is just part of the fun, I insta tilt everytime it crashes.

I use the old version, with the old handgrabber, handgrabber crashes about 20% of the time I close a table, so kill pacific and restart!

fun fun fun

What do you mean? Problems with v3.509, or...?
I really like the tables on the new version, but everything else is terrible.

I mean problems with the newest version. Most of the regs I know that use it have major crash and disconnection issues...But some however don't have any problems at all. Which makes me think it could be something else's fault...HandGrabber for example? Anti-Virus maybe? Hem?....

All previous versions were crap...but I could bare them...even when the tables swapped over and I was playing the wrong hand! But with the very new version...when it crashes every 10 minutes, something needs to be done.

Im gonna stop whining now! Scrotus... my handle is Monaez if u missed it.

Im fairly sure it will auto update anyway Danger. The only one that wont is the old classic pacific but that wont work with Hem.

Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

The old classic pacific is the one i switched back to. Handgrabber causes problems with the old one as well but apart from this it works fine. The new tables are no argument for me to use the newest version as long as there are all these crashes.

Anyone noticed Lagtard1 is back? When I started playing NL a few months ago I thought he was one of the big guns on the site, but I didnt play his stakes back then. Now im interested in hearing opinions on him.

Im happy scrotus thinks im not dumb btw. Although he may be wrong.

Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

Im very curious how ppl manage to play games like 50/100 games there with constant crashes and disconnection problems. I think WE SHOULD ALL SEND THEM EMAILS to at least extend the time to get a connection back if we were to get disconnected. I mean it's nearly impossible to come back to a hand if I ever get disconnected at Pacific.

I don't know about disconnections, but if the client crashes and I was in middle of a insteresting hand I usually QUICKLY relaunch it and usually get back to hands.
But, that's when it gets funny: Say i got it relaunched and my tables auto-opened: Hands I'm in, i can only see my own hand, no board cards nor betting amounts. So i have to play blind. Jesus H Christ.

Yesterday I opened from CO w 66 and 50BB-fish in blinds call. Flop comes A86r, I Cbet and fish Check-Calls. BANG, client crashes. I re-open it and get back to hand, where I just have to trust my memory what the flop was and don't know if it is Turn or River i'm dealing with
Okay, only thing I see is Call-button flashing with 0-amount in it, So i press it not knowing what amount i'm calling but fish only had 50BBs starting the hand and i have a set, so...
Next thing I know is that I have less money than before the hand. So I open that stupid Pacific hand replayer to see what happened:
Turn was 7, action went Check-Check, River was 4 and fish overbetshoved 4xPot and I called. Fish tables 55. GG

I guess the wisest thing to do is just go and revert back to old classic version (3.509) and use PT2 till Roy adds HEM support for it.

Better steam here than at the tables I guess

Anyway, another thing I'd like to whine about is Pacific's cash out policy. If you live in a EURO-country, you can't cash out in dollars anymore. I live in Finland and opened USD-bank account just for Pacific cash outs but can't use it anymore

And their currency exchange rates are just hysterical, surprise surprise. Anyone else noticed that?

Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

BTW, guys who play with the newest version:

What kind of error messages do you get when it crashes, or do you get none and it just disappears?

I'm in. Care to write it up and post it here so people can copy-paste it and email it to pacific support?

You can use moneybookers. I withdraw in $ to my moneybookers account and then withdraw to my bank account in Euro. exchange rate is ok.

Is your moneybooker account's currency USD?
