Can you tell me why casino players cannot play poker? Why 888 does not want to make the games more juicy? Why people who join casino or sports betting directly cannot play poker with the same account, but poker players can do sports betting and play casino.
haha wow this is true?? Only 888 ... i think they go above beyond any other site in their attempts at ruining the softness of their poker games. They enact policy after policy to turn the games into utter ****e.

I understand they have vested intrest in not letting the casual players bust their accounts to other regs. But they are just so downright blatant about it... It really is a slap in the face for the people that consistently pay 10s of thousands in rake per year to them...

Wow, that is so well said.
So, 888 should not be surprised that smaller networks like merge have grown from nothing to way bigger than 888 is now. Even small fishy italian networks are almost as big as 888 now.
It is simply because these sites do not hate players.

I had a funny moment with sports betting at 888 recently. I wanted to bet on a football game, but maximum was only 100$. So I went to support chat and asked about it..asked why I only can bet 100$ and in pinnacle sports and other decent places you could bet 5000$ to the very same game.
The support said, this is because you are from eastern europe.
All right, so I asked maybe the limits can be raised. They said maybe, but then you have to send an email to operations@cassava.BS

The game was about to start in half an hour or so. So sending email to 888 support which usually answers in 72h with some copy-paste utter bs useless crap was not the best idea. So I cashouted the little 100 smth that i accidentally had there and bye bye 888 again.

The sick part is regs are even starting those tables. And I think the rake probably isn't even beatable until 10/20.

I think those game ruin the normal games and might even generate less rake for 888 as a lot of fish just go play this but higher and get cleaned out very fast imo.

Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

I do not understand what are you whining about push or fold tables.

Full Tilt invented rush poker, so they had to come up with their own original idea too.

What do you not understand about this? It's laughable that you think this is an original idea and that they have to do anything because full tilt is doing something new. If that was the way 888 approaches their business there would have been a lot more necessary changes regarding bigger issues which other sites had allready solved years ago like the frkn security issues.

But I guess you're one of those push or fold players who can't beat normal poker and thinks he can beat the rake at push or fold but is actually just running on the good side of variance.

Re: Official pacific poker regulars thread

saying push fold is 888s creative counter solution to full tilts rush poker is like saying someone invented the calculator to combat the advent of the personal computer. Its just laughable ... push fold Is a casino game designed to generate a ton of rake and attract fish that would other wise play smaller stakes to move up and get it all in a ton.

The thing that really gets me is 888s rule to not allow people to transfer thier balance from casino to play poker. Is this actually true??

I'm checking into this. I don't think there is any rule or position against it. I just don't think they've made the software cross-over available to people using the Casino Client the way they did with the Poker Client.

As for the Push and Fold tables. I've certainly made our feelings known, on both the rake at these tables, and the logic flaw behind players going bust.

You guys are certainly free to debate the tables, I just want you to know that you've been heard. The ball is in their court now, IF/when they choose to make any changes.
