Re: ***OFFICIAL JUNE MSNL SUMMER IS HERE Thread ***

Was it a literal snap call or a 2-3 second call?

I find it likely he is just a fish, saw he had a straight as soon as the river fell and was ready to call your (presumed less than pot) bet instantly and didn't have time to notice you shoved as he was clicking call. Maybe?

So really since 5/10 generally plays like 10/20 it's more like 15bb/100 which seems a lot more reasonable.
Ya this is a really good point, a lot of the uncapped 5/10 games easily play 2x or more as big as your std 2/5 game (in terms of BBs obv) or many of the 5/10 games with a 150bb cap that I've played in.

Starting Day 1, you are homeless and you have no car. You have a resume but can't have anything higher than a high school diploma + minimum wage jobs on it.

Do you think you could end the year with $30,000 cash in your pocket? You cannot play poker or do anything illegal (drugs, steal, etc...but tax evasion is ok).

I did my best guess on a lot of the parameters to make it a close bet, suggestions on how they could be changed?

edit: also you cannot use any connections you have
this happens to me annually

Hmmm yeah live games tend to be ridic deep sometimes, I overlooked that a bit. If the game is indeed 300bb+ deep whenever it runs with a ton of fish then I suppose 100$/hr is attainable, but I don't know if those conditions are met 100% of the time.

There will be a flop virtually every hand and if there is one the hand is almost guaranteed to last more than 1.5 minutes.
Every time I've counted It's been in that range. Were you playing at a place that doesn't have automatic shufflers?

Re: ***OFFICIAL JUNE MSNL SUMMER IS HERE Thread ***

I would def estimate closer to 25 hands an hour ime even with automatic shufflers. That said most players would be 20bb+/100 losers at MSNL with biggest fish closer to 60+bb/100 losers. You can exploitably manipulate pot sizing in a way you never could online to make more w big hands lose lesswhen not super coolered.

I was about to go on then realized i'm destroying this thread by arguing about live poker. Plz someone Pic of hot chick stat

2-decks and automatic shufflers. Decent dealers too. 9max

Just checked my hands played last summer for live

Hours played : 34
Hands played : 799

So average hands/hr was 23.5

This was over a period of 3-4 months so different players involved. The only thing I can think of which may slow down the game is that the dealer uses a calculator to calculate rake at the end of the hand, but it wouldn't be that significant imo. Also the dealer does a wash shuffle quickly before putting the cards in the machine, but again, this can't account massively.

OMG :

BTW, anyone gotten back to poker after a 3-4 month break ? I'm going to start grinding again next week and I've barely played since March, well haven't played at all actually. Not feeling too comfortable about it atm.
