Re: Official IPoker Thread
Hi I'm not gonna out my sn on ipoker just yet but wondered if this is the norm. I am kinda new to ipoker. I play 1knl+.
The last few days the uber fish with an Indian sounding name has been dropping loads. All of a sudden there are 3 or 4 accounts all sitting at HU tables at 5knl+ who are micro grinders over large samples on PTR. They all appear to be German and all wont play anyone but the huge drooler, they ahvent even played any midstakes hands.
Are these accounts being taken over by the High Stakes German bumhunter gang? Screen names such as Spanaz. The guy pretty much admitted this is whats going on and that they all live together.

Re: Official IPoker Thread
can anyone explain to me how ipoker works financially.
How does it work if I were to join a small ipoker skin, deposit 10k, run it up to 500k, winning most of this money from players who come from other skins, and then try and cashout with 500k.
Where does the small skin get the 500k from since it was never deposited through that site?
Thanks

I don't have any direct knowledge of how this works but if I were to guess how it works all money deposited goes to ipoker so to speak and each skin simply gets their share of whatever rake they generate... so the skin doesn't actually have the 10k you deposited it goes to ipoker.

I think it came out about a year ago that contrary to common belief, the money deposited to each skin isn't kept centrally, instead each skin keeps it.
My guess would be that skins are required to keep a certain amount liquid to cover smaller cashouts, and larger cashouts (over 100k, maybe smaller) take longer, presumably while they wait for the month to clear coming from one skin to another.

Re: Official IPoker Thread
heh thats tinou's new account
i've been tryin to get his action but its so difficult.
It's worse than the nawt days!
Yesterday was annoying he must have sat with like 5 ppl at 100/200 hu and gave them all 6k each and i had like 4 of the 12 tables that were open and he ignored me
edit: oh and yeah dropping all my monies that time sucked obv but im pretty used to it. I must have gone from 0-10k+ about 50 times since 2006 with about 10 points of having over £50k. It still stings a bit but normally im over it after a day.

Well the other day just me and cheifcancy were sat on a few 25/50 and 50/100 tables alone whaslt the fish was online (he played some 5/10hu i think in this time).
After around 25 minutes of him been online and the tables been pritty dead, in the next 30 seconds our tables filled and aload more 25/50 tables started and it was all the same players, like 5-7 of them i think.
Seemed really suspicious how they all turned up at once.

Hi Ross,
i did my quick investigation, as promised.
As you know we are part of ipoker network, which mean that our players are playing against others players from others cardroom. As you are a good player (winning), which is good for you, you obvioulsy win money from others players. In your case, you won +$40k in cash game (mainly head's up) in september. Sounds that this money is coming from players which were not on chilipoker, so we dont hold their funds.Technically, we have to get the money from ipoker that they have collected (once a month), as a clearing house, to be able to send your funds.
Im really sorry and i do understand your frustration, even if we guarantee 100% of the clients funds (which is not the case of all poker room !!), we need to get winnings funds to then transfer to the client.
i hope you understand my explanation, feel free to contact me
thanks,
Alexandre.

Re: Official IPoker Thread
Hehe I remember u from the Valuetowned days Jasmyn, U really are a degen.
400/1000nl them days was so easy.
As far as the German bumhunters obv after Nawt they got some software to auto sit at any table as the fish.
I mean in 0.0001 secs that he sits every seat and the waiting list is full.
I ****** hate ze germans
