Long time since ive been grinding ipoker. I read something about the network being split in two? Pros and cons for what side of the network someone should play? And is paddypoker on the good side of the wall?

Weird question. I'm pretty much fed up with Ipoker as a whole but something just intrigued me. I was surfing about and came across some posts in the hsnl xfer thread, lots of people wanting BOA (bank of America) $ for well known Ipoker skin $ (Boyle/Winner etc).

What is the deal with this, are Americans playing on ipoker in Mexico/Costa Rica etc ? PenelopeCruz who posts here a lot also requested a xfer, are you a relocated American? Not a conspiracy theory, just genuinely interested if I'm playing with loads of yank expats etc and never really though much of it.

I know of quite a number of US players living in Mexico, Costa Rica and Canada who play on iPoker. Most of them play midstakes+ or even strange games like Limit Holdem haha.

Moving to Thailand playing NL50 seems to me a much more European thing from my experience - the US poker expats are mostly making decent money from what I hear.

Well ya obviously a ton of americans were forced to relocate post BF. Obv the 50nl grinders probably just got jobs or something but anyone beating MSNL+ clearly at least considered moving and many did. Personally I'm a Norwegian citizen and spend a large amount of time abroad.

I got told today that they were just doing maintenance and they would be back shortly. No 5/10 hu games returned in any currency. I'm really confused. And if they continue to **** about with removing games etc I'll be leaving for good.
