also i guess the 5/10 players are being staked (assuming they aren't bots) which explains why they don't play lower

some guy prolly is staking several players, who maybe multiaccount, or he is staking 55 people !!! (prolly less likely)

If you gave someone a strategy to follow and staked them, would you not let them practice/show that they are able to perfectly conform to your strategy & stats at lower stakes first?

^^I agree but def not 55 as there are probably a bunch on ipoker that are same person/different skin and/or multiaccounts elsewhere.

I tend to agree with McGlashan.

Regarding their style, I'm wondering why you are considering so unortodox to continuing the bets from 1/4, to 1/2 and more, which seems pretty normal to me. As well as it seems a proper strategy to avoid calling raises in MP, CO and BTN.

SB limping maybe is unusual, but I have seen tons of people doing it, especially in the live games.

Proper or not 3 betting small in position regains the betting initiative. It also encourages the pfr to call / play back light.

i recognises a few of these names.. dont really think they are bottin tbh, maybe a bit un ortho but nothing to get my alarms ringin.. but it was a while ago i played with some of these,, i remeber having a fish note on Jlock then removing it after a while.. then i put it back i think..

How you started playing poker:
started playing poker, after that i quit school, and needed a way to make money, Had one friend (johnny lodden) who used to go to my school who was making alot of money so i started to play aswell. Played a bit with johnny in the underground games and since then i played alot of 50$ freezeouts and started cashgames around a year back.

Started playing 3 years ago, Was going up and down in the MTTs, but i was barely making some money, so i could go out and get drunk. started playing seriously a year or so back. Thought i had it all set so i moved away, so i could stop paying sick amount in taxes + i wanted to explore the world. Got a bit sick of the grind and enrolled back to school. cashed out a bit and havnt played much poker lately.

I have the mind to understand poker, but lately i am just having some trouble trying to use it. Everything i try doesnt work out, So i need some guidance and some help. i am willing to relocate live if you live somewhere close by and etc, cause my studies are via online. (Just a security measure i guess :S?)

I've said from the start I don't think they are bots, but wouldn't be entirely surprised to be proven wrong. That is a new can of worms altogether.

My point of contention is that they seem to softplay each other somewhat, or worse. If they are all playing out of the same "stable" then clearly many of them will know each other...

It may indeed be paranoia in wake of the stox scandal, but I certainly don't think there would be any drawbacks to a thorough investigation into exactly what is going on.

Even if they're not bots and they are friends or whatever, shouldn't there be a question of team play/colluding?

Also I just remembered this:
I contacted Betfred 3 months ago with the KwldJJk/dr95Wst picture (http://i50.tinypic.com/90zu4g.jpg), told them these guys were playing at the same time and I'm having a hard time believing these are two separate players.
They replied saying "we have sent it to the relevant departament, thank you for bringing this to our attention etc" and then I never heard from them again.

Anyway, I have just sent a mail reporting this to Betfred. I also gave them the link to this thread so maybe theyll take it more seriously this time.

I checked Jlock in my DB. Before Dec 2009. He was running at ~25/19.
After that he plays ~33/24. Maybe he got a coach.

Anyway, he has been around for ages. I have played 2/4 with him in 2007.

Is there a way to query the HEM DB for players that have certain stats/stats ranges, eg. open limp SB between 45-55%?

4 me they are humans, i play some of this guys hu, they never give up but strange....
they used to no reload at table, start 100bb then 80bb then sometimes 45bb....

ive had couple of them listed as buddies before, netpanda, lojobof and amoteen (maybe others too) i liked to play with them.. but that was atleast 1 year ago, 3/6 and 5/10 i think..but i think i removed them later on

Also i'm 99% sure he tried to scam me with an e-book he sent me via email with keylogger attached. I clicked "view" and not download in google chrome gmail, it was the real e-book but what im asking now is if clicking view does that activate/download the keylogger?
