pretty sick that. what skin or is it a secret?

10Kmgr at noiq gets you about 1000 bucks.

the 500K race might be pretty juicy with some grinders not wanting to switch networks, and grinding at ongame(?) ain't gonna be much fun

Is there anyone else playing at CDPOKer here?

I haven't been able to access my account for almost a week now. Anyone else having the same problems?

The support is really slow and I'm not getting any reall help atm.... So am I the onlyone having this problem????
It all started when they made some update and I was sent a new password. I can access the first step, but when there is a new window asking me to change my password I always get a messege saying there is no respons from the gaming server. Should I be worried?

Any input in this mather is more then welcome...

It sounds very worrying imo

yeah, id be crapping it tbh m8

imo its inevitable that some skins are going to go busto in the current climate. when chasing the best deal i try to look firstly for a skin thats from a solid company, big bookmakers etc.

some of the smaller skins are on the breadline/making a loss, possibly close to busto, and are so desperate for your business that they offer ridiculous deals

your av msnl grinder has a roll of what 20-50k online, and priority number 1 is to ensure that is protected, not get an an extra 1% from lilliachopabollockoffpoker.com based in macedonia

im not sure if playtech/ipoker network protect your funds if the skin goes busto, but i doubt it. anyone have any info on this?

I am in the market for a new ipoker account. As clarky said, given the current environment, deals with sites that are reasonably well known would be preferred.

clark: I think the ones regulated in Malta have reasonable oversight, like they're supposed to keep player funds separate and so forth. Not sure though.

i run good made a 24Ł accumulator on this weekends games buying 8 lines (i.e. i can still get one wrong and win)

This is my line thats left

1 Newcastle v Liverpool (Backing Liverpool @ 1.77)
2 Everton v Sunderland (Backing Everton @ 1.82)
3 Arsenal v Portsmouth (Backing The Draw @ 4.92)
4 West Brom v Tottenham (Backing West Brom @ 3.69)
5 Fulham v Chelsea (Backing The Draw @ 3.82)
6 Bolton v Wigan (Backing Wigan @ 3.08)
7 Blackburn v Man City (Backing The Draw @ 3.31)
8 Hull v Aston Villa (Backing Aston Villa @ 2.02)

So a villa win nets me about 3kŁ to hedge or not to hedge????

ps: Robinho is my boiiii

edit also if villa win i will be cursing Gallas as it came to like 41kŁ if all 8 came in lolz

Regarding thei nvestmen stuff. DND on 2+2 also told me to read
"fooled by randmoness".
It helps a lot regarding life and obv poker. His other book is also very nice, although some topics will be repeated and some stuff is also considered to be "standard knowledge" for most of the posters here.
I really enjoyed it. One might say that Nassim´s a bit arrogant, but meh, i dont rly care, since he does it in a funny way imo.
Yeh well to be honest i think his "arrogance" is probably justifiable given the results orientated behavior that pervades most of society. It's easy to forget that winning poker players reading the book are likely to already be conscious of many of the examples provided in the text. That said his second book "The black swan" could be renamed to "why i am smarter than 99.99999% of the population and the intellectually stimulating conversations i have with the other 0.0000001%". Time would probably be better spent reading The (Mis)behaviour of markets by Mandelbrot rather than the black swan imo, for a budding investor anyway. I also think hes a bit of a hypocrite i.e. he claims to be a devoted empiricist but his book is littered with hypothetical hyperbole. That said they are still some of the best books iv read

which ipoker skins in your opinion are reputable? I'm new to ipoker and am trying to find a reasonably secure site

Safest skins are probably the ones backed by other revenue streams and have a substantial bookmakers so that would probably be skins like Mansion, Blue Square, Bet 365 , Betfred ill let clarky elaborate but i assume these are the kind of sites he means. But i mean if CD really is having problems its slightly worrying as i always thought they were one of the bigger ipoker skins.

Bet365
Betfred
Blue Square
Expekt
Paddypower
Vc poker

Id feel safe with my money at any of these sites, not sure about the rest, if any can add.

Apparantley NOIQ are a pretty good site for customer service from what ive read up on since the other day, theyve left ipoker now though obv.

what goat and nufc says. basically any big reputable online bookmaker with a trading history is your best bet. add william hill +boylepoker to list( joining the network in jan) and my skin centrebet, one of austrailia biggest bookies, been in operation over 30 years.

thats the sort of solidity you are looking for imo.

would anyone really be surspised if a small struggling busto skin gets booted off the network, or goes into administration and your roll gets swallowed up in the process?

i too got solicited by rogue agents from carlos with ridiculously high "cashback deals", but when i looked at the site, and saw no marketing or promotions had been updated for 9 months, the impression i got was that the firm looked really badly run, with a strategy for bending and breaking ipoker rules by employing rogue affiliates because they cant be bothered, or dont have the cash, to promote themselves and fight for their market share fairly, like everyone else.

i got told about them getting booted from network 2 months ago, and posted a warning in this thread. the source was one of the bosses of a reputable firm, someone i trust. he told me they were getting the spanish archer(el bow) because of these dodgy practices. and they got caught because over 60% of their player pool were winning players, and the average is 2%. ipoker defcom 1 red alert was issued. you dont have to be einstein to work out that they were seducing hsnl + msnl 2p2 grinders and pros, and had literally no one else on their database

i got quite a few pms after i posted the warning with people wanting to know where i heard it from etc. i hope you chaps got out, if not, i hope they let you cashout.

please keep thread updated as i think we would all like to know what protection we have got for our bankrolls
