I looked at those 4 handed tables and don't mind trying to start a game w/ regs, prefer it 3 handed to HU though and I would in no circumstances start a game HU when there is a reg just sat out and waiting for a recreational player. I think I'd prefer to see the 4max tables scrapped.

I wait at 4 max's, I generally get fish action who join. But like Pof, I'm usually happy to play hu v a reg, tho similarly prefer 3 handed. NR and a couple others will often join and sit out v me. (espec if an art paul and such like are around) though I don't necessarily mind this, I wouldnt like to see 4 max's scarpped as it is my main source of action, though I think if waiting lists were removed from them( dubious?) or if there is a super short limit on how long you can sit out (5 mins max?) this could solve some stuff. It is all very well proposing such things, but are we wasting our time, does Ipoker take any of our gripes into consideration. Thoughts?

There's a professional grimmer on Stars. He has been doing it for years, grimming for hundreds of thousands of hands. Since his exploit can only be used if a new game starts, it makes a lot of sense for him to multi site so I'm posting this in all other regular threads too. Maybe some of you have seen similar behaviour from a player, and if you PTR him you can look if his stats match and if his session history is similar.

Anyone succesfully use Holdem Manager table scanner with William Hill? Scans the tables fine but I can't open or join tables. All other sites working fine.

Has anyone mass-emailed ipoker about this? The last few days I saw about 10+ tables with 1 player sitting and 2 other regs 'sitting' with $0 at the 4max tables.

How many seconds does it take you guys to click/open a table and sit in an empty seat on the new software?

For me it's like 5-6 seconds, but a couple of friends have mentioned it takes much longer, like 20 seconds+

Any ideas?

one second with a fresh booted computer. If my computer has been on for days, maybe 4 seconds.

what is the reason for sitting at a 4handed table to sit out ala nutterrutter when 2 regs are playing. does he have his own tables he wants them to sit at?

std iPoker regs thats waiting for a fish cause they cant handle the heat.

At the same time I could careless that most regs dont start tables or play vs other regs. They wont get better so its all good. Keep siting out, in 2years you're going to be siting out the poker world.

yeah my point is that at a 4handed table where 2 regs are already playing, the chances aren't too great for a fish to come along with only 1 empty seat, and if the regs are positioned opposite, they can't even get direct position on a fish if he does join.

i can understand sitting out at a 6m table tho

For the HU players on Ipoker, do you guys notice that some players are constantly sitting at 10+ empty HU tables daily at any given time when the rules say that no player is allowed to sit at more than 4 empty HU tables?

The software has an inbuilt mechanism that doesn't let a player sit at more than 4 empty HU tables. However, there is a glitch in the software whereby if a player sits at a HU table that is already occupied, they can sit at upto 16 HU tables.

Ofcourse, these scumbags are table-blocking others and sitting there until their opponent is forced to leave. After this, Ipoker LETS THEM SIT AT ALL THESE TABLES and this way, they end up sitting at almost 16 tables daily.

Some of them even have paid 'friends' to help them do this on a daily basis to bypass the restriction and sit at 16 empty HU tables (instead of 4) which is not just a breach of the TOS but also, severely unfair to all other honest HU players who don't resort to these cheap malpractices.

On contacting Ipoker support, the chat representatives are only able to report such players to the Ipoker Programmers (not sure if they even exist) and there is a standard response given:

'We have reported this issue to our programmers and a sanction will be issued against the concerned player.' and 'They are aware of the issue and are working on it.'

This non-sense has been going on since over 3 years and clearly, the so-called 'Programmers' are not doing anything about this. Moreover, no action or very little action (24 hr ban) is taken against the reported player.

Unless all of us unite and start sending mass emails/bombard the live chat reps with messages regarding this issue, this glitch will NEVER be fixed. There are new scumbags bypassing the restriction everyday and this is not just going to continue to be unfair to the rest of us but also, clog up lobbies even more and bring HU to a fatal end.

It's about time they do something about it, IMHO.

E.g.: Right now, 'August44' is sitting at 15 empty HU tables.

Does support ever fix anything even when they are bombarded?

i tried it out because i was sure there was a limit for the amount of time i could be "attempting" to buy in for, and right enough the limit was 90 sec. god knows how he does that.
