on a whole different note. today i tried logging in and my password was not working. I called customer support and got the problem fixed but the whole thing really sketches me out.
is limping 88 utg full ring that bizarre?

Bodog did away with 400 6max when they limited the amount of 5-10 6max tables to 2 and the amount of 10-20 6max to 1.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

so ****ing gay, and opened a bunch more 300 tables so that all the 400 players have to either move up or play 2/3 that = much more rake

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

when i contacted them the guy i was talking to said something like "we dont like having a bunch of tables with 4-5 people and a couple with just 2"

didnt make much sense to me, because if you want a 1k hu game you just have to hope nobody else wants to play 6 max. i guess having people wait for tables> generating more rake.

i had also mentioned my concern with only having 2 1k tables, and he didnt say this outright, but basically the gist of the conversation was that they are more focused on their sportsbetting than their card room. (his statement was something along the lines of our card room is a recreational card room for our sportsbetters or something like that.)

i mean i guess if you wanted to not generate money through your cardroom what would make the most sense is not allow p2p transfers, keep the amount of tables to 3, minimize the amount of higher stakes tables, have crappy software that always freezes whenever you write a note, deny any problems with your software, have problems with your payouts(which are fixed now), and not be anything like any of the other cardrooms that are booming like stars and full tilt.

it just seems to easy to keep people happy in a card room and bodog doesnt seem to care.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

wow i am finding less and less reasons to continue playing on this site. i called up and asked about the rapid transfer payout method. i heard this was a good way to get up to 2.5k quickly but i am having my doubts.

you first have to deposit onto bodog using this method, and they suggest $200 or more b/c they will cover the fees (whatever those are), to set up account b/t the payout company and bodog. you have to call them back with the control code and all this other bull****, and then they call you and let you know the control code to get your payout. all in all the process takes up to 3 business days.

i really dislike the idea that in order to get money off of MY poker account, i first have to put more money into it. this site needs to wake the F up....or maybe i need to realize that its time to go.

Its a 1 time thing. Like i said b4 send them $500 they will match that and pay the $10 fee and you can then do as many cash outs as you want. As for calling them for codes and **** umm i havent had to do that. I cashout through that method on the web site then a day or two later i get an email giving me a code that i write in on the form i fill out when i go to pick up the payout. Thats it. Sometimes i do find that when you call bodog and talk to people each of them know different things and all of them are definitely not in the know on the payouts. Ive received emails a few times responding to my questions saying "were sorry you received some incorrect information."

It seems to me that bodog doesn't show too much interest in becoming one of the big online card rooms and kind of want to lay low so that they can run their other stuff smoothly with no problems.
