Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

The prob with the pot/max bet is the little light takes a split second longer then the mouse to switch over. So when your mouse is actually on the pot button.. it may click the max button. i e-mailed em.. I'd be real surprised if they didn't take care of this pronto.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

just saw this thread, been playing mostly 100nl although i had been taking shots at 300 before these new 200 6m tables got put in. i'm now playing those pretty much exclusively.

i can't really comment on any of the "best" players mentioned in this thread, but i have played the most on bodog with jenidamoaner probably by far. almost a year ago now me and jeni were 100nl regs (one of the very few who i saw day in and day out). so lacrosse starts at college, i end up taking a break over the summer, come back, and see jeni playing 3/6 and 5/10. i can only wish i had continued to play. nothing spectacular but appears to be winning at every level so that's all that really matters. i definitely wouldn't be afraid of or avoid jeni though.

as for the new software, yeah it really sucks. i'm not sure emailing them will do anything at all. calvin ayre had been planning this change for a very long time i guess. i don't really care/i'll get used to it, i just wish dogwatch still worked.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

gambool: decent tag, solid preflop but afraid to make big calls/ bluffs

linecrusher: too loose and passive for my tastes

doctor88: excellent handreader, aggressive in all the right spots, capable of running over the table at any time

nunyaFTB: extremely solid, his style is probly the closest to game theory optimal of anyone ive seen

fr3ghi9: very tough and aggro, i have two solid sources that tell me he is actually bldswttrs

tuftsballer: another solid tag with a few moves, nothing too extraordinary tho. he and guys like thumper18, solow, and pepsiontherocks are all the same to me

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

solow is def more solid than tuftsballer.

another few mentions are foldorbebroke and deucetin.

duece seems to give me respect but he can be tough. pretty straightforward but he mixes in moves now and again.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

played with deucetin yesterday, he seemed to be a pretty good player.

I am also having more respect for getmeofftilts game. Seems to be a very solid player and definately knows which players to three bet.

Drexah i remember playing with you at 100nl, glad to see you taking shots higher. Im sure you will do fine at200 or 300.

thanks, yea it's just really frustrating to think about where i would be at right now if i hadn't had to not only withdraw large portions of my roll, but just completely playing all together due to circumstances completely out of my control. just recently in the past couple months i have begun to play seriously again, putting in 40k hands at 100nl 6max and running just under 9ptbb/100. i've only taken a few shots at 300nl (1k hands, +1bi) but now that they have the 200 6m tables i'll be playing those. was your bodog sn the same? i don't recall it.

also does anyone have any idea what new software/if dwhg is going to be updated so that we can get the HH files again? if anyone wants to talk poker on aim or anything shoot me a pm.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

I have to agree most with C_Hoop's brief synopsis of player characteristics.
Here is my personal opinion:

Sonofabookie: probably toughest HU player i've faced, very solid all around player, his main strength is HU and short handed play. This player has good understanding and feel of situations, you have to get creative and aggressive if you want to outplay this guy.
Famousanus: very solid player, capable of making moves, and also good at reading opponents. His all around solidness is the main reason he is such a huge winner in cash games.
Mission: My nemesis , i've battled this guy HU on numerous occasions. This player is very loose and floaty. Against this guy, the key is picking good spots to shove. This player is tough because he is not afraid to shove 200 BB with air if he feels he can get you to let go of a hand. Spewey at times.
Linecrusher: Solid player, with remarkable stats. His best game is 6 handed. Plays very clean winnable poker, def. a winner in long run.
HansenHustle: This player is very tight, don't expect him to go far post flop with air or on some tentative draw. Very hard to get this player to commit his chips. Although he won't out play you post flop, don't expect to stack this guy easily.
Machinegunian: New face on bodog. Isn't afraid to gamble and loves making hero calls, which makes him exploitable. Though his character is poor, he can be a tough opponent, depending on your style of play.
Blueflare: Very solid player, that has good understanding of table dynamics. This guy tends to play mainly the bigger games on bodog 10/20 NL and 10/20 PLO.
Foldorbebroke: Another solid player. Nothing particular stands out in my mind about him, though we've played well over 2k hands
Chumpstatus: Played this opponent alot coming up, he loves being aggressive and establishing the table bully image. Expect alot of 3-4 betting vs him. He has been on a sick downswing for some time now, i hope he can mentally regroup and get back to the higher games on bodog.
xxLisaxx: Very unorthodox player in terms of betting patterns and style of play. He has run very hot against me in the past. He is exploitable if you can pick up on betting/stylistic tendencies.
Solow: Very good player, def. can hold his own HU.
Ryan: Not sure how this guy is still playing 5/10. One of the weakest players 6 handed (never can get this guy to play HU). This player does not have good understanding of table image, situational dynamics...etc. Although, lately he has donked himself some large stacks.
XSqueezit(sp?): Yet another all around good player.
Goodjunk: Ditto, though can be spewy at times.

Pheww, didn't expect to get a list this long.

Re: OFFICIAL BODOG REGULARS THREAD

Agreed that the new software is horrendous... apparantly its nearly unanimous... and still nothing can be done about it? its surprising anyone still plays Bodog for reasons already mentioned...
