I always wondered how that did work when many players share a house. I don't have any friends that play poker so I wouldn't know. But years and years ago I played on my laptop at my friends house and about 6 months after that I guess he thought he would try to deposit and he was playing, I just thought he was a fish, and when I tried to sit it said I couldn't sit his table. Took me awhile to figure out what happened but I did when he texted me to tell me he lost his first 3 deposits online lol.

I was reading some interesting stuff recently. I'm wondering if it would be possible to catch colluders by tracking ev vs certain players over large samples. I don't even know if this is possible because of such variances. But maybe satistically it could be highlighted by tracking ev vs certain players and then group them together and do another level of filtering.

I have played probably 7-8million hands lifetime, and i've ran over EV +50BI at the max a few times, under EV -40BI a few times and -90BI once but it always normalizes over sample sizes >300-400k hands. Over my last 800k hands I'm -145BI under EV and it's taking a long time to normalize. I don't really care, thats poker and what you get when you play the game. If you run a statistically analysis surely at least 25% of players over a 10million hand period would slip +\- 100BI in EV. But I am wondering after reading some articules randomly about all these bot rings, if colluding bots is involved in some percentage of my slipping EV value. Based more on the fact of the consistent EV swing over the sample size. It may not, but it is intriguing all the same. Just some food for thought.

This post isn't about my own results. But it's more to open up the possibilities to track colluders and bots to another level. I think we need to find solutions to catch bots because they are only going to get more and more advanced.
