yeah, a fish who almost single-handedly convinced me that partypoker was rigged had a 16k stack at 10/20 stars yesterday. Not sure if this means stars is also rigged or that I am the real fish

Sadly enough I don't think anyone would be surprised if so. Given how regs behave nowadays the fish probably find zero entertainment value in the games at PartyPoker. Hell, no one even tablechats anymore, I wouldn't blame the fish for thinking all regs are bots!

oh yeah man it would be awesome. I honestly wouldn't doubt that within a few years whole countries will be banned from many sites. it's not like the sites don't know which part of the world breeds the most parasites.

I think the Bodog ban was a while back, and mainly to do with having to deal with potential legislative issues from lots of countries where they may not get much revenue - not really sure though.

What would be awesome would be if a site banned a country as such a high percentage of players were lecherous scumbags who do nothing but harm to the game. They can start with Romania.

I made a quick google and Bodog's reason for banning countries does not seem to be what crabbyface is making it out to be. I'm not sure that having poker banned in any country is gonna be good for the games in the long run, but I would probably find huge personal satisfaction in seeing Portugal ban online poker.

Rooms left with like UK, Germany, SWE, FIN players? Its not so much rake for them.
I doubt they will go for it.

Seems Bodog has some sort of advanced reasons for doing this.

I think they did it to cut down on payout costs and marketing etc. At least from what the info. says online.

Just wanted to share some info with u guys. Party/Bwin, whatever, the network is still segregating in some way. As I'm typing this I'm watching three 2/4 6max tables with 1 to 2 big fishes on each table, no waitlist/empty seats.. Seated regs are Louisxxx, Kadez1988, artem0sha, IamBiWinning, R_GreeR. Louis and Kadez are austrian accounts. 99% certain that IamBiWinning is former sn "hereisjonny" who also never played anything but "off PTR-tables". Also 90% certain that accholder for IamBiWinning and Louisxxx KNOW eachother/both talk swiss or german. Skin in question is Bwin.

So I got a job and am quitting playing pro poker. I just finished my first week of working as a lawyer. It's going well so far. Lots of great times at Party over the years, despite the most inept site management you could imagine. Hard to believe I've been battling against some of you guys for over 5 years.
