lmao you obviously buy hands/datamine

so funny

the sample sizes seem pretty big, tbh its unlikely to be just his own db, but to my knowledge rush cant be datamined, so who knows.

i think the important part of his post is just that the games are getting bad, even with how bad the short stackers are, theyre still hurting the games
10-02-2014 , 07:35 PM
Those who play rush will usually also play different stakes. So datamined hands could come from normal games like 6m NL HE 1/2, 2.5/5, 3/6 etc. I am former SNE on Stars and Ironman for multiple years on FTP winner of many rake races. I know what big sample sizes looks like. I am not saying he used datamined hands, but it does look very suspicious. And even if he did? Does he do the same as over 50% of the regs? What sanctions would or could be taken against datamining? Yes, I agree, games are getting tougher and more difficult to beat every year.

Finally I confess. I am buying in for minimum. I don't reload either until I have to. I realize playing with different stack sizes is a really good defense against all software, dataming etc. which is for sale out there.

guys, last time ill defend myself. I dont datamine or share hands. ive played around 1m hands of rush on the same db. If you would like you can look at the black card leaderboards for "rush high" and do some math. Also play other games on ftp. Anyway, no more

Like I said. If the player pool is small with a lot of hands being played. It is possible yes. Especially if you don't have any filters in your HUD. But it does look odd yes. Let it be.

I got ~9.5k hands on "staceymc" and I really don't play much (~1h a day lol) so I'm 99% sure it's just his hands, not shared.

100% sure its legit. Played a lot with farell had similar sample size

So I've just logged in to FTP and it seems like all my preferences, table layouts and player notes have been deleted/set to default. Everything was fine yesterday, and I've definitely not changed anything since then, so I have no idea what's going on? Anyone else experienced this?
10-05-2014 , 10:47 AM
For me it is all normal. Notes are stored in a file with your username in the ftp folder under program files. Your settings are also in that folder.

That happened to me time ago (before BF). The xml somehow got corrupted and dissapeared, I guess... I couldn't recover it.

Since then, I back it up everyonce in a while.

Yeah, I've checked and those files are now blank/default, with no sign of my old settings.

I guess that must be what's happened, but I'm pretty sure I've not done anything that should cause this. Sucks losing all your player notes. The only backup I have is from ages go, sadly...

When you close the program your note file is stored on your computer.
When you are online, your note file is stored with FTP.
Did you change computer while being online? Did you lose connection while being online? Either way, your note file should be kept. In all these years, almost 10 years on FTP, I have never heard of anybody losing their note file before.

I've just remembered that when I was finishing my session the last time I played (when everything was fine), for some unknown reason, my computer blue screened when I was closing down the FTP client + PT4 (I don't know which, if either of these, resulted in the crash). This isn't a normal occurrence, but everything seemed normal once I restarted so I didn't think much of it, but now it seems likely that this is what has caused the problem.

I always assumed that the note file was stored client side at all times. Does this mean that FTP stores a backup of it? Seems like a long shot, but I'd really like to get that file back lol...

I am not a computer expert, and I do not work for FTP. It does sound to me your computer might be having some serious problems. Blue screen at the wrong time can cause you to fold quite a lot of hands.

Current schedule is listed in your my promotions page.

click Cashier > My Promotions> Happy hour and it will show you the schedule for next couple of days.

It's also happy hour when games have half or less of the available seats at a table filled. So 3 handed games at 6 max tables are double points.
10-13-2014 , 07:15 AM
yea tyvm, found it earlier:
