Nah I like the river bet. Most of the time he has 44-77, 67 type hand here that hes gonna call a normal sized bet with but fold to this one. Besides he wasnt like a huge donator that doesnt know theres a button called fold but something like 38/16.

Almost noone is "bad" To breakeven in most of the games on stars you are outperforming your opponents by 4-20 bb/100 just to breakeven.

I have a solution that would benefit everyone.

LOWER THE RAKE

LOWER THE RAKE
If other players manage to win but you break even "due to the rake" you are bad

The sad part is that some people actually think like that and don't understand why it's wrong.

Re: ***The OFFICIAL 2012 Stars Regulars Thread***

I am trying to help people understand that very point. And to whoever said that that person is bad: Yes relative to a person who beats a game at 22b/100 someone winning at 18bb/100 could be called bad. But relative to the person only beating it for 4bb/100 or losing at -4bb/100, they are good.

Just because you are better than someone else, does not mean they are bad.

Re: ***The OFFICIAL 2012 Stars Regulars Thread***

Calling somone who breaks even at 200nl bad at poker is like calling a really good recreational tennis player bad at tennis because he's so much worse than Nadal.

They're better than 99.99% of the population so calling them bad is a bit harsh.

anyone who doesn't understand that is just stupid; not necessarily bad at poker, but probably.

Check out this poll here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...stars-1148227/ -- for who gets to go to Stars HQ to negotiate rake/VIP changes with them

Right now I'm the main 6 max NLHE guy in the running so please vote to maximize the chances of us having a strong opinion in the talks

Please post or pm with any advice/things you want me to bring up if I end up being invited
