I just checked my account at raketherake and the calculated rakeback is a lot less than the expected if 30% straight still aplies...

If you're getting the 30% through an affiliate instead of a skin, I expect the total rakeback will decrease. The affiliate will be paid depending on how MGS calculate your value to the network. If you were getting the 30% through a skin, you'd still get 30%.

seems like a bit of a pisstake if even some standard 30% deals are going to take a hit - rake is absurdly high on this netwrk as it is.

Is the rake higher than Ipoker? I don't remember where i got it from but i remember reading somewhere that it was pretty much the same.

it's quite a bit higher - MG charge full rake once the game gets to 3 handed and rake to the cent; at iPoker the cap's only maxed at 5 players and at .5/1 and above they only rake in 5c increments.

I assume that these affiliates are paying the 30% based on what they get from you as a player. If you get your 30% through the skin - like you can on most skins - then it won't make any difference to you.
