Hello everybody,
I am deffinetly the worst reg ever seen in midstakes, plus I am from Israel.
I just don't get it. how the hell can I play HU in this network? i can sit a hole day in 100-1000nl HU tables and get zero action, and trying to join the bumhunters is even less action.
IS there any reg which is sitting in HU tables and will just play another reg..?

BTW, how bad am I?

Noone ever plays hu duh. Even people as low as 50nl game select lol.
The guys who sit at the tables with random amounts trying to look like fish are the funniest


ive been away from the games for a while now, but every time i glance at the lobby, the games look terrible these days. who was on merge in the good old days with no bots, no shortstacks, could buyin for more than 100bb, and tons of recreational fish. Seems like so long ago now.

Its a damn shame but I think it makes more sense to game select more than ever. Before BF it wasnt a huge deal to play tough games or regs hu because you'd be able to make it back rather quickly with some games selection, now its not a guarantee to find a good game, also keeping very limited bank rolls to lower your exposure if another seizure occurs makes it tough play regs hu at mid or high stakes

+1, 2/4+ is the worst i have ever seen it tonight

a few months ago all of the 3/6 games that ran tonight would have been 5/10. Sportsbook's removal of 5/10 really did some damage.

thanks cog for helping earlier, also props to alburq for starting as well

also when you start tables it's pretty impolite to sit on the other regs left. thought this was pretty intuitive.

Due to the departure of one member we have 1-2 slots in our discussion group open.

We are currently three winning pros playing from 2/4 to 5/10. all of us are getting or had been coached by several different people, which helps when discussing different opinions and lines.

We have two sessions per week scheduled for 1hour with mandatory attendance, those sessions are prepared and moderated on a rotating schedule. The content of these sessions is always set in advance and are either "the usual stuff" (like hand histories) or also theory topics. Those topics need to be prepared and tend to include a presentation with overview of the bullet points and hand histories (past examples: donk betting, playing 3B OOP). So just to make it clear, being member of this group will cause work outside the group.

Of course we also have the usually chat room where we discuss ideas/hand histories outside those session.

We are looking for one or two 2/4 to 5/10 Regs who have been proven to win those games to join our group.

If you are interested, please drop an email to PokerImprovementGroup@googlegroups.com with a short intro to yourself, and include which site you play on (or plan to change to), what stakes and what coaches you had.
