NL600 turn decision

I'm 22/19/8 and he's 26/23 agg 6.7 cbet 72 but turn only 38
I'm winning a lot vs him for this leak and maybe he's adjusting vs ms, sure he does not play good turn and river

NL Holdem $6(BB) Replayer Game#382968404

xxxxxxxx ($160)
xxxxxxxx ($1,123)
xxxxxxxx ($573)
Villain ($613)
hero ($1,138)

xxxxxxxx(SB) $3
xxxxxxxxposts (BB) $6

Dealt to hero 5c 5d
fold,
villain raises to $18
hero calls $18
fold, fold,
FLOP ($45) Td 4h 2d
villain bets $30
hero calls $30
TURN ($105) Td 4h 2d 6d
villain bets $60
hero raises to $162
villain to $565 (AI)
hero folds
villain wins $424

On this flop i thinked to turn in bluff at the flop or floating to steal on the turn. When he ri-bet maybe i overthonked on some adustment and i thinked he cannot continued without set, flush, or OP/TP with high draw.
Comments on my line?

fold>raise>call on turn.

raise/folding isn't a bad plan for balance, maybe size it a bit bigger to appear pot committed.

Re: NL600 turn decision

you can do that, or you can fold or you can call and ship over his river bet or you can call and fold to his river bet.

Just gotta go with the move that you're feeling at the time, hard for us to help you after the fact as any of the 4 options can be the best.

so why did you raise turn? seems silly. calling flop to take it away on the turn is obv a solid plan but when he bets respect that.

This.

In addition to that, I don't like to give him the chance to 3bet shove his Ad and Kd hands ott, making us fold the best hand.

There is one diamond too many on the board. I think hero way overplayed.

Re: NL600 turn decision

Folding turn is the best play against this villain. His turn barrel frequency is too low for a bluff to be +EV. The way you describe villain in the OP, we probably don't have to worry about balancing our range with bluffs. Against villains with higher turn barrels a raise might be okay as one of those "turning the top of your folding range into a bluff." But here it's definitely a fold imo.
