lol this hand can't be butchered more. Firstly flatting (or even folding) pre is probably better than 3betting and secondly we need to c/c turn.

I'd just bet the turn, but check call is okay too. Check folding is ridiculous. Did you see how small he bet dude?! How the eff can you fold there? lol

if you don't feel comfortable playing top pair with no kicker you probably shouldn't 3bet A8

right, in fact nl600 is not my level, i select some table sometimes.
In this hand we are deep too. I use A8s like a polarized bluff 3bet, but looking back the hand (stakes and oppo) the call for value is better.
After oop vs a so sick bet on the turn (second barrel is legitimate) i preferred fold because with mine history image and the fact that he never give up the hand on the river.

Fwiw I much prefer 3betting preflop rather than calling. Out of position against a not so wide range not even closing the preflop action, bleh.

its fineto3b A8s when deep but u need to

1. have more detailed reads on villain then dis:

and

2. have a plan on what we gonna do post.

without more reads i like beting flop and turn and probably ch/f river.

withmore reads checking flop or turn is another option...

3 betted pots are always tough. Maybe you should stick to the single betted pots instead until you feel more comfortable in 3betted pots...
