The Official Bracket

The Rules
$1000 buy in

Single Elimination Tournament, 104 players, random seeding.

Matches will be best of 3x200BB Freezeout without escalating blinds, through the quarter finals.

Matches will be best of 5x200BB Freezeout without escalating blinds, starting at the semi finals.

Multi-Tabling is encouraged.

If both players agree to pause the match, just make sure there are no disagreements.

Before your match starts, please post the time and site so we can railbird and berate you.

After a match, PM me with the result.

Missing deadlines will be penalized by forfeit from the tournament, by the offending party. If there is a dispute as to who the offending party is, I will attempt to resolve the issue as fairly as possible. I will have the final word, in these matters. If you think there may be a problem, please let me know ASAP.

Payout Structure
1: 51300
2: 20750
3-4: 8375
5-8: 4300


Where
Stars has $5 HU Tourneys with 200BBs without increase. These are recommended, but any place where you can play 200BB matches is acceptable.

Deadlines
Two weeks per round.

Official Start date: Mar 2 2008
Round 1 End Date: Mar 16 2008

Feel free to play matches scheduled for later rounds early, if possible.

Dropping Out
Withdrawing will be equivalent to a forfeit. If you are dropping out in the first round, and can get an alternate to take your spot, that is also acceptable.


All participants are expected to keep room in their PM box, and to check this, and any threads concerning the tournament, regularly.

The official rules will not change unless there is outcry from the participants.
