MSNL doomswitch-18 months and counting

Make no mistake, the games are getting harder.

Month by month, a handful of new multi-tabling wizard kids are getting promoted from ssnl to msnl, armed with enough knowledge to at least hold their own.

Ultimately in 18 months time the dark world i envision is one where all the games are reg v reg, the fish completely outnumbered, and the tables swamped with grinders. The imminent poker boom in the far east may help out short term but will act ultimately as a stay of execution

So i figure the weaker regs, such as myself, have 18 months to make some money before we are unemployed. Everything changes in life, and i am determined not to let this opportunity pass me by. I do not want to look back in 2 years time when i cannot beat the game and think "fxxk, i shoulda played more back then"

For this reason i am not leaving the house and will be playing 60 hours a week, and wazzing in a bottle like leatherass does until this day arrives.

someone pls pls pls tell me this view is wrong please (as i would like to leave my house at some point in 08/09)

discuss

this

also a lot of regs out there who just seem incapable of understanding some things about the game.

everyone these days is saying, "man if i was taking this seriously 2 years ago i'd be playing 25/50 right now." well we're playing seriously now and as long as you don't stop improving you'll be making at least as much as you are now in 2 years.

Maybe I just don't table select that well, but the games seem like this to me now. I consider a table with 5 regs and 1 fish a good table. 2 fish is a godsend. I don't think I've played on a table with 3 fish in the past 6 months.
