Yes it's a bet after that it will depend on if villain can bluff enough here and if you're forced to defend AQ based on your river range. I'm guessing live it's an pretty easy b/f as villain won't br bluffing enough here on the river.

i don't mind a check behind... a lot of people's range will have enough AQ/AK/QJ/QT to where this isn't a great vbet. so his river range might look like those hands + some Jx, and against a bluffcatch range derived from that initial range you aren't doing that great... not totally sure though, seems close for sure

I like X beh a little more than bet, cause the hands we can beat that he can call here are AJ,KJ. We can't have pure air, maybe small pockets tirned into bluff.

edit: just seen villian is the preflop aggressor
check back, villian cant call a bet if your ahaed and you are beat by AK/AQ/QJ/QT
also i would check back the turn and if the turn went check/check i would valuebet the river if it was checked to me

I'd much rather bet the river than the flop.
Clubs missed, but you don't have too many bluffs. Half pot seems about right.
Unlikely an aggro reg tries to show down AK OOP, and he may have c/r'd the turn if he did.
