2 similar hands in which I double barrelled TP good kicker and x/called river.

I've heard it said that TP is generally worth 2 streets of value, but if everyone knows that can't a savvy villain just float flop/turn really wide, bet river expecting us to fold most of the time and make a ton of money? How else should I play these types of hands OOP...?

      Both very standard

Running bad sucks, trust me. But that's poker

Hand 1: I personally like checking KJ with a flush blocker sometimes, betting is just fine also though.

Depends if this are villains you play a lot of hands with.

But in general, who really double float bluffs river?? If this is river value bets you have clear folds.

Against regulars with a lot of hands folding is exploitable.

Players will call with draws then bluff them on the river when they miss. Everything misses in the first hand.

More importantly, it's cutoff vs button. Second hand is at least somewhat close.

I actually like making a small bet on the river is the first hand sometimes, like 1/8 pot or something. You can induce a raise with missed draw from some players and they will make a call with Tx sometimes. Very few players with raise KQ on the river for value when you make the small bet.

Do missed draws really have good folding equity on river?

My question is, is the river bluff with missed draw a bad play? Imo it is.

Also, important how villain usualy play draws. Double calling seems like a fishy play with no showdown value.

Two pairs or better would likely raise turn on wet board?

As in, first hand is standard cooler and second hand closer to a fold but still probably a call?
