    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8 8

    Did I bet too small?.. Somehow wanted to keep him in the hand and NEVER put him on FD.


    I'm just loosing with EVERY set i hit.. never improve too full house and Villian alway hits a better hand -.-
    Villian had 18/14 3,2 3bet over 400 hands

    No you're not.

    Bet bigger OTT, you're just losing so much value and you can easily set up a smaller river shove (6$ should do it).

    Also don't post results.

    Yes i felt like betsize on turn was bad..

    I know I am not loosing every set but it just feels like.. I'm loosing big part of my bankroll because with the last 7 sets in big pots i lost..

    And the last 10 KK I ran into AA 3 times. Just don't know how to win any money .

    I'm starting to doubt if my game is good.. i just win all small pots and loose all big pots..

    Do you practise proper bankroll management? If you lost a big part of your bankroll, you should move down.
    Variance happens. Try to take a break for a few days, it usually helps.

    Raise more on the flop. Bet bigger on the turn. As played you don`t beat anything by the river.

      God, that tilts me more then getting beat by a 1 outer. LOSING. You're LOSING with every set, not 'LOOSING"

      Sorry for Loosing .

      The problem ist I run better then EV and stil "lose" and that lets me think i play badly .

      I'm not tilting or anything so i don't see the point in taking a break.. I just have the feeling i get bad setups but I'm still not shure if my game is bad.

      How do you know he's not losing with every set that hits? Have you got his database of results or something?

      In the short term it is possible that he could be running badly enough, and that is probably what is happening to the OP right now.

      I've not seen a single case where someone would claim they lose with EVERY set and it turned out to be actually true. I doubt you have. But still you have to nitpick and troll the thread. I must say than now I understand why you get on everyone's nerves.

      I'm sorry if i was ment with getting on everyone's nerves..

      I think I'm trying out some 6 max. Is there a Thread where i can get some info on the fundamental of 6 max? (Of course play looser (right this time with "oo"? ) and more agressive, but setmining etc)

      Yep, been lurking for quite some time. And I sometimes even like your posts!

      OP, you could try just playing like you play full ring (without the first three positions) and then make adjustments from there.

      It happens.

      But I would raise to $4.50~$5.00 OTF, and bet more OTT for sure.

      Btw, don't get in the mindset of stacking off ANY set. There are some times that you should fold them. When the board run 3 to 4-straight/flush and he raises you on a spot that he would never value bet worse, proceed careful.

      But as played we can never fold the river can we? And also I should valuebet the river? Think i get payed by many Ax and two pair..

      Thought AK is a big part of his range, but think with AK he would bet or c/r turn..

      I can fold sets, if its ovbious that Villian hits a straight or a flush, but on that board and his preflop opening its very hard to put him on a flush. Just weird to open SC's UTG i think (was UTG i think with some guys sitting out).

      The other sets i was talking about, i flopped a set, other guy flopped straight and slowplayed a little. Another time i flopped a set he had AA and hit an A on the turn.
