EP open raises, folded to button. What's button's Ace calling or raising range, in a fairly standard game, with little to no info on EP player?

Specifically I had ATo in this spot recently. I don't really love calling, raising, or folding lol.

I think A10o is an easy fold, suited I would sometimes call and sometimes raise depending on opponent and stack sizes.

I think were way behind enough times to fold. I generally want the other players figuring out new opponents for me. Pay attention to his game then later on in that spot you can make a better more profitable decision.

My opinion is that if you want to play with weak aces vs unknown player, in position, it is best to 3bet. This way you will most of the times if he calls and you miss the board, get to see a turn for free. But if you really want to call, i guess AJo would be ok.

I'd say flat ATs, and 3bet A2s-A5s, ATo, AJo as bluffs. Not sure if that's too many bluff combos though, it could be, so folding ATo and flatting AJo is probably good too.

If we want, say, a 2:1 value/bluff 3bet ratio in this spot, AA-QQ, AKs, AKo is 38 combos, so A2-A5s, AJs is 20 combos so that works almost perfectly.

34 combos right ? But yeah I get what you're saying and this seems like a good game plan for Ax in this spot.

If I'm doing my math wrong, point out where for me because I keep getting 38 combos for that.

AA-QQ (6*3 = 18), AKs (4), AKo (16) is 38 combos as far as I can tell.
