Was about to say that this schedule sounds very solid and impressive for someone taking classes/university It seems very optimal and balanced and should be very beneficial even if followed at merely ~70%. GL

some people do more physical activities than just jerking off, u know?
10hours of sleep to recover from heavy workouts or lots of sports is the most normal thing in the world.

I get up 0600 and play poker until 0800, then go to work regular job for 8 hours. Sports, TV, cooking etc after 1800, sleep by 2200/2300. Rinse repeat. Throw in optional drinking on weekend. Totally ballin lol.

0600-0800 is a good time to play for Australia anyway, so works out well.

I do heavy workout 5 times a week, but whatever I am not able to sleep 10 hours I will always wake up like 8 hours max without alarm so, 8 hours is more then enough

Wish I could!!! then I could play more, I play football (soccer) 3-5 times a week then depending on friends I'm out playing golf 1-3 times a week, I mean my body is shattered but my mind won't shut off even if I tried ....but yeah I wish I could teach myself to sleep for a hour or two and wake up grind then sleep again

I'm just a student who plays poker parttime/semi-professional, but do you really hold on to those schedules strictly?

I mean, I usually just wake up at around 11 in the morning, take a shower and eat some breakfast whhile reading the paper, and after that just do whatever I want.. I think I'd go crazy to commit myself to a living/poker-schedule, I already hate the about 8 hours a week I'm committed to going to school lol

Wish I could follow this more. Spring out of bed without a clock by 8:00 and be fully asleep by 22:00. As the days pass I would find myself having less incentive to do so.

for me I never had a set schedule but at the start when I was grinding I was playing a lot without having to be forced to play. I say forced to play what I really mean is being in the mood to play, most days I would wake up and be in the mood to play, lately though golf, football + friends just seem way more exciting than playing poker.

Short answer to your question is that, when you do things over and over unless your really passionate about it then your probably going to get bored somewhere down the line,

Wouldn't call myself a professional but I do view poker as a part time job where I put in around 30 hrs a week so here goes:

7:30 - wake up, shower, get ready for work
8:00 - leave for "real job"
8:30-3:00 - work at 30-hr a week "real job"
3:30-5 - get home and take a nap
5:00-7:00 - play poker
7:00-7:30 - dinner
8:00-midnight - play poker

I think it has helped my game to get in a routine...the nap part after I get home is crucial so I can be sharp when I'm playing. This is Monday-Thursday. I play pretty much every day but make time on the weekends to hang out with friends, ect.

no schedule will help anyone if they suck...

I also don't see a reason why a 'real job' should be in MSNL poker player daily schedule unless you're a rakeback grinder masstabling nit or owner of a big company, like MicroSoft.

I wasn't recommending that having a "real job" is an essential part of a player's daily schedule...was just stating the fact that for those who do have jobs outside of poker that creating a good routine and budgeting one's hours can be even more important.

For me when I don't budget my time well I find myself playing tired and that is very -ev for me.
