the only requirements are that you are a winning MSNL player and can commit to 2 hours per week.

also we should have enough players that we are able to split the group into subgroups, hopefully with each member playing a different site so we aren't giving too much away to the other regs in our games.

well I'll do my best closer to the time of starting (early Jan)..at the end of the day if a few regs know each others game better but both improve I think that'll be +ev.

lol yeh, the prospect of all these lurkers leaching off good msnl regs is slightly off-putting, i'd be much more interested in doing this if it was a smaller tight-nit group of msnl reg posters, or at least good, well-known players.

i think a >1000 post requirement should be enacted if this is really going to be done, it would solve the lurker problem pretty quickly.

maybe you could do the screening yourself since you did initiate the thing etc, not sure a post count rule is smart cos there's some really good regs with only a few hundred posts.

I think you (or someone) should just consider a few factors to select a small group of players; those factors being enthusiasm/willingness to contribute, 2p2 reputation/post-count, success at the tables, among others.

yeah ok I'll do that closer to the time..there's no point in doing it if the people in the study group aren't of around the same level of understanding. There are a few people for sure who are new to msln, maybe I'll just put them in their own study group and partition it off on the forum.
