Re: Alarming News about Botting at Ongame

I think even if you don't play on ongame, sending the message to all poker skins that you were thinking about joining their site but now refuse do to botting is an important step to light a fire under their ass. This is something the whole community could get involved with, not just current ongame account holders.

Re: Alarming News about Botting at Ongame

voice recognition or live webcam recognition would be the best bet... also for multi accounting.

cant be that hard to implement for the people who play 30k+ hand a month. Force them to get a webcam or limit them at 30-50nl. Every long session have a customer rep call them for 5secs and say a specified word back.

that wouldn't be hard to program and no ***** way a reg at midstakes cant afford a webcam for the integrity of the games.

Just asked live support if they plan on actually responding:

10/14/2011 10:24:05PM *****: "no i sent an email regarding bots"
10/14/2011 10:24:09PM *****: "and was told you would look at it"
10/14/2011 10:25:01PM Agent (Elizabeth): "Oh, regarding bots..."
10/14/2011 10:25:07PM Agent (Elizabeth): "Funny."
10/14/2011 10:25:25PM Agent (Elizabeth): "Do you have any other questions?"
10/14/2011 10:26:16PM *****: "i would like a response to my email"
10/14/2011 10:28:15PM Agent (Elizabeth): "Thank you and goodbye."

Betsafe thinks bots are a joke, and that they are funny?

A month ago I would have responded the same way if you told me about bots and I didn't know you. That's why spreading the word is important.

Re: Alarming News about Botting at Ongame

This is a very, very serious issue. Glad you guys have done research on it, Internet. As written in the OP, we may be able to beat the bots today, probably not tomorrow. This has to be stopped NOW. Everyone here should feel obligated to do their utmost to make this a huge ****storm for both iPoker and Ongame; they really need to start feeling the heat here.

Re: Alarming News about Botting at Ongame

According to Internet, they bots on Ongame should be up 1m$+ with rakeback included. The same should go for the bots on iPoker:

If this is correct, the bots have taken $ 2 million out of the community the last 12 months or so.

I imagine it's way more, they likely concentrate on tables where it's harder to track them.
