6 max winrate/lossrate by position

is losing -26.8 bbs from the bb a spew........ i suppose is the main question i have

here is my 3/4 million hand database colated over the last 10 months

anyone care to offer an analysis of my leaks from this snap shot

im particulary interested in any opinions on the loss rates from the blinds. standard or not? i feel like i am i 3 balling too much oop, especially from the bb, then playing like a girl post flop as indicated by the low post flop agg factor

but i have no tangible benchmarks

any help/ comparisions much appreciated chaps

Re: 6 max winrate/lossrate by position

You are losing less than you would if you folded every BB, so that's good. You are forced to put the money in out of position, so you are never going to have a positive winrate from the blinds. In HEM you can add the "$ without blinds" stat to this report to see what you are winning without considering this forced action. If this number is negative you have a serious problem.

My overall winrate is close to yours, and my winrate in the blinds is also close to yours. I think a better solution to your OOP worries is to look at specific hands and situations of OOP play than worry about this particular stats report.

In the top left where it says "Select Report Name from List" choose the "Position" report from the drop down menu. If you play HU you should add a filter for hands that have at least 3 players, because your hu position stats will obviously be different than your ring game stats.

I am moderately tighter, esp from the SB, and 3bet less. I am marginally more aggro postflop. Our preflop VPIP/PFR IP are almost identical.

Re: 6 max winrate/lossrate by position

Wow I usually play around 40-45% hands OTB. I thought everyone did.Playin 27% from SB and 28% from the BTN is surely a pretty big leak?

Re: 6 max winrate/lossrate by position

Hmm... My BB winrate is minus 37BB/100.

SB: - 13.9 bb/100
BB: - 37 bb/100
EP: + 15.2 bb/100
MP: + 16 bb/100
CO: + 33.8 bb/100
BTN: + 40.3 bb/100

But I guess the high CO/BTN WR's make up for that? Overall 6.8 as well. Maybe I should revise my blind play, lol.

Re: 6 max winrate/lossrate by position

How can you guys be so tight from the CO/BTN?

But I would say it's impossible to be a winner from the blinds unless you are playing NL 200 or lower.

Re: 6 max winrate/lossrate by position

I've spent some time studying blind win rates and -22bb/100 in teh BB and -11bb/100 in the SB is about as good as it gets long term. I'd get concerned if I started approaching -30/-15

hmm last 160k hands of non-HU i'm -8.59 in sb, -36.9 in bb

it's in holdem manager where bb = big blind though so maybe divide by 2. winning at 3.3ptbb overall though (6.64bb)
