OP, I've gone on two 50+ BI downswings over the years so it's not something to get extremely worried about. However, you're probably not playing your A game or even B game as a result and/or have some leaks so do analysis of your game before you get back to grinding more hands.

I'm on a 60k hands 12 buyin losing streak and feeling pretty rough about it. Still winning comfortably over the last 200k hands but decided to drop down to build up some confidence. I only 4 table so that probably makes a difference. Couldn't imagine a 50 bi swing. There's definitely been some good advice in here and I think I too will come out feeling more confident about my game after this swing makes me analyze more. Gl, op.

Im surprised the thread that had every other poster saying theyve been on 50 bi downers hasnt been posted. was like 7+ pages long by 25 post standards. Was a pretty awesome thread to read.

I had a 45bi downswing over a year ago, since that I am winning at 2,5ptbb over a 500k hand sample. Hard to say how well I played though.

Brooo i feel your pain~ im done grindin for the day, sippin on whiskey and just listening music. i just lost 15 buyins over a 20k hand sample. yes that awful, but my first 7k hands i was definitely playing my A-game but it progressively got worse. Ran bad + Making emotion decisions towards the end is a really bad combo LOL. Just move down in stakes, and go do something to take your mind off of it. For me, i like getting completely smashed and just listen to music. Take a couple days off, review your hands when you feel ready and get back to grinding!!! (I grind 1/2-3/6).

Oh the high's are so blissful, yet the low's are atrocious... I <3 poker

Ahhhhh fresh off a 16 hour session down 5 buy ins @ 2/4. I'm running so bad over the last 2 months it makes me sick. For the first time in my life I actually googled "Bovada poker rigged' to see if anything came up lol and I got this so I'm gonna post here

It just doesn't make sense to me b/c the games are so good and the players are beyond atrocious it jjust feels like somethings wrong. Never really had this feeling before. Usually its knowing I'm playing bad or some crap. I know I'm playing my best poker but I keep gettin lubed up and rammed. I guess I'm supposed to take a day off or something now. fkn stupid.

Sounds like you are playing at a limit you can't beat. Move down in limits fix your leaks and start winning. Then move back up.

Fifty buy ins is a pretty huge swing.

What's the difference between a cooler and a setup?

a setup could be getting the perfect run out for you to run a bluff, only to run into the single hand that can actually call you on that run out (I think!)
