Hello,
I've joined twoplustwo because I want to ask a question to some good players on a hand I played recently in 5/10 NL. This is the hand.
It's a 6 max table. UTG and HJ fold, CO raises to £23.50.
I have Ace Queen off suit, so I 3-bet to £60.00, because I likely have the best hand and because I have position.
Blinds fold and Opponent calls.
Flop comes Jack spades, Ace spades, and 3 hearts.
Opponent checks.
I bet £50 into the £135 pot, because I have top pair queen kicker, I kind of feel my bet here was a little weak, I should probably have gone over half pot.
Opponent calls.
Turn comes 7 hearts.
Opponent checks
I bet £80 into the £235 pot. I definitely feel this is a little weak and I'm likely giving him the right price at around 4 to 1 to call if he has a flush draw. I should have bet around £150 in my opinion.
Opponent calls.
River comes 5 spades.
Opponent leads £300 into the £395 pot.
I do a lot of thinking and use most of my timebank and I make the decision to fold. I am putting him on a flush draw, possibly King Ten of spades which also would have had outs to a straight.
So my question is: am I giving him the right price to call?
Thank you so much for reading this far and any replies are very welcome.
