400nl, play w/F.H. on river

Only had 39 hands on the villain, but his stats were 32/22/0. When I check the turn and he bets I think he has a ton of floats and stuff like JT, 8X. Whats your play on the river and why? IMO the best play on the river is to Check/Jam

BB: $422.00
UTG: $403.00
CO: $416.00
BTN: $373.00
Hero (SB): $403.51

Hero posts SB $2.00, BB posts BB $4.00

Pre Flop: ($6.00) Hero has 8 Q

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $12.00, BB calls $8.00

Flop: ($24.00, 2 players) 8 3 Q
Hero bets $16.00, BB calls $16.00

Turn: ($56.00, 2 players) Q
Hero checks, BB bets $39.00, Hero calls $39.00

River: ($134.00, 2 players) T

Re: 400nl, play w/F.H. on river

if you think he has a huge amount of Tx and always checks it back, while not having too many Qx(maybe cause he raises flop), donking might make sense. might.

but he does value bet Tx at least sometimes, and he has Qx in his range, so donking is tarded

check and and he bets you are good to raise, sure.

Re: 400nl, play w/F.H. on river

Against most villains I would prefer the check/jam line. However if I know that villain is passive and is not able for thin value or bluffs (mostly indicated by aggression River and WTSD) I would donk bet.

What about to donkbet smallish?
1.)You get value from weak holdings,
2.)he might think his Qx is good enough to raise for value
3.) or you could induce a fancy play when he decides to turn a busted draw/air into a bluff since such a bet looks pretty weak.

c/r turn unless you have a reason to believe he'll continue with lots of bluffs on the river after you c/c turn.

i think c/r in this spot its an obvious line to get max value, don't like it.

turn is interesting. i like a c/c vs a lot of players (who autobet turn and bet or even overbet river with a high freq - i've seen this a lot recently). this board gets also floated very wide.

i think c/r turn is the worst option.

I would much rather c/c the turn than c/r.

Agree with internet.
