Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

I'm definitely calling turn here. I mean he can easily do this with JT or KK/QQ as said above. Having that said his line looks very strong and I'm not very happy with my hand. River is tough and I doubt he's ever bluffing at this point and QQ got there and JT might not ship anymore. I think folding river is the best play.

Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

Villains donk out on flop threw me for a loop. Usually this means air type hands. But then he min raises the turn lol wtf. I was putting JT in his range, 6x sometimes, TT,JJ,QQ,KK possibly, some weird spaz air ball hands. If the Q doesn't land and it is a brick of a card I think the correct play would be to call down?

ewww, would be wanting to look up hos donk sometime soon in the future, but river looks like a disciplined fold.

Call turn and probably fold river. Usually weaker players tend to give up river these kind of pots or they are making "cheap showdown" / merge raises on the turn.

Also agree with Mossberg that passive pf stats doesn't indicate that they are are passive postflop even though this might be more common.

I put him on J10 or Q10. He is confident in his two pair; I doubt he has trips or boat with this line. So call on the river makes sense.

Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

Would fistpump call turn and meh call river. Fish show up with random **** when they take weird lines. I would be really shocked to see him show up with a 6 after donking the flop. 89 is his most likely value hand that beats you.

Have you been pounding on him at all?

Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

i'm pretty surprised anyone wants to fold anywhere. do people really think he donks TT or 6x on the flop? if not, what exactly do we lose to? 89/K9? if he has those, can't he have 78/Q9/79 as well? couldn't he just be a retard and think KJ is the nuts here? his line doesn't make sense to me with any better hands except some zany backdoored hand, and if he can have that hand he should be able to show up with enough better hands to where we can call this.

Yeah fish really do show up with the most ridiculous thing's taking these sort of lines, j10, QJ, Q10 wouldn't surprise me at all, I'm calling turn and river.

Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

Yeah not folding turn to that goofy *** line. River isn't a snap anything, but I'd probably lean toward looking him up (and then shaking my head at his JJ or something completely idiotic like 98). Wouldn't rule out raising his donk otf either, despite texture.

Re: 400NL AA in weird spot

hey all new hear to the forum..Just curious after reading. Why would we call turn, and then fold to a big river bet. If we call the turn, shouldn't it just be for value, and hope he bets big on the river so we can stack him.

I don't fare well in online cash games, so I just trying to learn. My thoughts would be to either min re raise him, and hope to check down river, or just fold turn and move on. I don't get turning passive here.
