3/6nl 4 handed, V (a breakeven player) has been aggressive and stacked off to a fish on a bluff, otherwise nothing much out of line. Has been seeing lotta hands pf. Hero is probably viewed as tight and hasn't played a hand against V.
Onto the hand.. (sorry, couldn't fetch the HH)
Hero ($600) raises to $12 UTG with AcKs
V ($600) calls
SB calls
BB calls
Flop: 4c 6c 7c
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $21, V raises to $84, folds around to Hero
What's the best play here considering we are OOP?

meh, **** it i'm going with this one otf. Really dislike calling as I think he's always shutting down on another club and always continues on a non-club turn since our hand looks like overpair + club or Acx super often, so vs aggro opponents I'm just making it some commiting size and going with it. Vs nittier ones i'm just folding flop think and I think that's fine.
In a more developed match I always call though, I don't even think I have a 3betting range otf vs very strong opponents. Above is just exploitable vs most of the popuation at these stakes.

I think it pretty close between folding and calling, but i think that i would just fold. Its seems pretty unlikely due to board texture, sizing, and the presence of other players in the pot that he has anything less than two pair a large enough portion of the time (which is why i wouldn't consider getting it in here). I think if we do get there its gonna be hard to get payed enough to justify calling on the flop (especially out of position).

*dont think villain has any bluffs here so just calculating against his range of value hands
im torn between a 3bet and folding. as sweden said, calling shouldn't be an option because of implied odds, assuming villain shuts down once a 4th club comes. all comes down to how often villain will fold a set or a small flush to a flop 3bet. think he needs to fold about 40% of the time to break even from a $275 3bet. i think calling with the nut flush here is a mistake so we have all our value, air and semi bluff hands
flop might be a x/c instead. i hate having to fold a nfd just because we bet flop

I think I will check-raise the flop. Check-call is really bad here vs a good lag V.
