BU is a unknown player new to table . (No flush draw)
Pre: you should raise. Flop: you should not raise with marginal hand on multiway pot. Turn: fold. He cold call you raise on the flop indicating a lot of strength. I feel you misplayed every street
As played, previously, I'd just call flop. What is the point of raising here?
As played previously, I'd fold turn. Pretty dry flop with only a couple gut shot draws possible and there was a bet and a raise in front of button on the flop and he called. And now he bets turn when you check. I don't see how QJ is ahead of him much.
Wouldn't 9xbb mean $450 left??...but you make it $500 pre? I'm not really following stack sizes, what you have left when shoved on hitting trip J's on the river. If you are down to your last 1k, easy call IMO. If you have 3800, not so much.
Badly played all around. Raise pre if you're comfortable with this, limp I guess if you aren't.
As played, flop raise is horrific very very very poor. It's a multiway pot on a dry board and you don't have enough information to think your not so strong J is any good here.
You're also just bloating the pot which will put you difficult situations if villains have a set vs you or J7s
Are you seriously considering calling the river? The only thing you beat here is a broken gut shot. And villains bombs the turn as well.
basically if villain had gutshot, wp to him. You gotta fold this on turn and don't overplay flop.
I would have either raised or folded pre. called flop folded turn. As played I would fold river... Given there is no info on him it is hard to say what he was doing. Given the limp we don't know his range is he could have limped with anything. He can have a crazy hand like KJ, J7,J3, 73 or he could have limped with a pocket pair like 33, 77 or 99 all hands that beat us. Since no history on him and no raise to eliminate the junk hands we have to assume he could have anything. In a situation like that I would fold there are better spots to get your chips in with.
