I raise 20 in SB with AA with 800 behind
Button brand new player calls with 300 behind
Flop8Q4 rainbow
I lead out 30
Button flats
Turn J
I lead 100
Button flats
River J
I check
Button bets his remaining stack of 150
I snap call
Pre-flop you open the sb and he calls on the button? So I guess he limped the button? Some limpers in front of him too?
So on the river the pot is 300 and there is 150 left in his stack?
Just shove the river yourself. He's almost definitely calling with a Q and I think he has a Q a good amount of the time.
If I checked the river, I wouldn't fold to a bet. But I think checking is pretty bad. You don't say whether the turn put up a flush draw, but, especially if it did not, there doesn't seem to be many missed draws he could bluff. Just shove the river yourself and get called by a Q a lot.
